偽滿洲國傀儡皇帝溥儀的愛妃譚玉齡病逝，日本設法通過婚姻來控制偽滿。先是要求溥儀娶日本女人，在溥儀拒絕之後，他們又設法讓溥儀的弟弟溥傑娶了日本女人嵯峨浩，並且立了一個《帝位繼承法》，規定如果溥儀沒有生子，他弟弟的孩子則具有法律上繼承帝位的權利。
關東軍的中將高級參謀吉岡安直是偽滿帝宮的最高總管，在得到上司的首肯後，應允為溥儀選一個中國女性做皇妃，南嶺女子國民優級學校女學生、平民出身的李玉琴拍下了選妃照……
吉岡安直警告溥儀，這是日本方面最後的妥協，如果溥儀不能接受，那麼只有一條路，就是按照關東軍提出的日本女性人選，他娶其中的一位。李玉琴在老師藤井陪同下進宮，當她被帶到溥儀面前抬起頭來的時候，她看到的溥儀正籠罩在逆光的陰影裡……
戰爭結束，溥儀作為蘇軍的俘虜羈押在俄籮斯，李玉琴四處流浪，她在困苦的十年間，一直等待溥儀……

Well Produced.

A quite interesting and well done history-based series. Based on history, this series is suspenseful and informative. The script is well written and the director is first-rate. The acting for the most part is excellent,especially from the male and female leads. 41 chapters of great story-telling! The cover of this version is totally mis-represented;there is no such action in the series. That aside, a highly recommended series. |
