  30集歷史電視劇《李衛當官》由《雍正王朝》的編劇再度創作,《雍正王朝》原班人馬聯合出演,是《雍正王朝》的續集。歷史上、李衛在康熙、雍正、乾隆年間官坐三朝,青史留名。
  康熙年間,江南遭遇特大洪災。目不識丁的小混混李衛奉母逃難,不料母親被冤抓進大牢。為救母親,他和被害的清官岳子飛的女兒思盈聯手,假冒欽差,劫大獄、劫法場,捅出了一個天大的官場貪污案,驚動了朝廷上下。太子黨要殺他滅口,八爺黨要殺他滅敵,四爺和十三爺卻看中了他那一身“邪氣”,極力向康熙舉薦他作為一顆釘子楔進鐵板一塊的江南官場。就這樣,一個大字不識的混混開始了官場生涯。他心向著百姓,眼盯著貪官,接二連三地扳倒了知府,扳倒了道台,還扳倒了自己的頂頭上司,從此威名遠揚,貪官們既怕又恨,百姓撫掌歡呼,青云直上的李衛卻陷進了對手用金錢和官印結成的大網之中……

  This TV serial is the continued verdsion of YongZheng Kingdom, which enjoys this greatest popularity throughout China. They are written by the same author and played by the same famous actors. Li Wei is a historically true figure who had been an official throughout the years under the rule of three successive emperors of Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty and enjoys a good fame among the common people.
  In the years of Emperor Kangxi a disastrous flood devastates the south of China where Li Wei lives, who is then an illiterate and naughty boy. He has to abandon his hometown with his mother for survival. On their way of escape, his mother is wrongly put into prison for some unknown reasons. To save his mother he cooperates with Yue Siying, a young beautiful girl whose father, a just official, is wrongly murdered by other officials. They try every means such as pretending to be the Emperor's commissioners, breaking into the jail or raiding the execution ground. Their rescuing actions unexpectedly reveal a serious official embezzlement, which shocks the court and the commonalty as well. The Crown Prince tries to get him killed for he knows too much of his secrets and the Eighth Prince also wants him killed so as to counterattack his political enemy while the Fourth and the Thirteenth Princess appreciate his unbending character. They recommend him to Emperor Kangxi and so Li Wei begin his life as a magistrate. He sides with the poor and keeps is eyes on the corrupted officials, taking them off their power one after another even his immediate superior. And just because of this he is feared and hated by the corrupted officials and cheered an welcomed by the poor. He is rapidly promoted in position but also falls into trap weaved by money and power of his enemy.

This is a really good series. It has a good storyline especially the part Li Wei become a magistrate. At the same time, the actors and actresses are great. Xu Zheng ( who portrayed Li Wei) ia a great comedy actor. He is natural and funny. He for sure will have a bright future.
