Awsome, but...
| This CD was really great I enjoyed listening their new music Life signs again, Good day, Sunshine, and Precious. The only problem is they didn't put the lyrics for the second disc and this is my only TRF CD I have. And the lyrics book should have been more of a creative cover than plain white cover, but still I love this CD it is great and the new versions of the old songs are awsome. I went to Mistuwa to buy this and the DVD version was sold out so I got the CD version. But again awsome CD!!!!!!!!! |

Nice Turn-Around for TRF
| After absolutely hating my last TRF purchase, I was a little scared to go ahead and take a chance on this one. But I figured that this album represents an historic moment in J-pop history and that it was worth giving TRF another chance. I am glad I did because they have certainly improved their sound; its much cleaner, more mature, and with much better production value, than their previous work Ive heard. In addition, they seem to have gotten over some of their English troubles they were having before. With Loop #1999, I felt that they were stretching too hard to have a full world sound, but this time they just concentrated on what they do best: creating catchy pop tunes with great dance beats. In addition, this album comes with one killer bonus disc. The tribute album that is included is just as good as the original album, and just as good as other compilation albums Ive purchased before. Having two discs of such great quality in one package really makes this a great value set. On the original album, favorites were Everlastings (a track with just the right touch of trance to give it some depth), Where To Begin, Precious, and Signal Theta, an instrumental track. I was also happy to see One Nation, the song featured on the Song+Nation album, on this album as well, but I was sort of hoping it would be a new version. However, for those who have never heard this song, it will be great to have it on this album. Its simply an awesome trance track, written by TK and DJ Dragon (basically GABALL), which pretty much guarantees it will be something unlike any other song youve heard. On the tribute album, the songs that really shine are Keikos trance/house version of EZ Do Dance, Silver and Gold Dance covered by TM Revolution, BoAs ultra-bouncy version of Survival Dance, and AAAs version of Crazy Gonna Crazy. |

TRF are back!
|
I'm growing up with TRF songs. I'm very excited to know TRF release new album! While listening this album, your body goes to move with music~ For Disk 1, highly recommend Where to begin(Track 3),You & Me(Track 4), As it is(Track 6), Life signs again(Track 9) and ENGAGED '06(Track 12) Where to begin is really a good song. I love this song after listened once. ENGAGED is previous TRF song and TRF rearranged this song. It sound good~ I like both version. For Disk2, highly recommend Silver and Gold dance (track2), survival dAnce ~no no cry more~(track 3) and BRAVE STORY(track 9). I'm surprised that TMR and ELT turned those songs to their style! They may sing better than original version! After listened this album, I have listened TRF previous songs again and again~ |

Surprisingly Good Album
| Finally TRF is releasing a new CD after 2000's Burst drive MIX -album- (It was a remix album actually. The last original album was LOOP#1999). "Where to begin" is a high tempo dance hit to keep your body shaking. "You&me" is another J-pop song that I would suggest. "One Nation" was included in song+nation project and was the last song collaborated with TK. "ENGAGED'06" is rearranged and it so touching. The cover side is amazing as well, "BRAVE STORY" by Every Little Thing is refreshing, and "Silver and Gold dance" with T.M. Revolution is so rock!!! I definitely recommended this album! |

Welcome back TRF!
|
TRF and producer Testsuya Komuro started the dance/pop J-Pop craze in mid 90s Japan. TRF turned out hit after hit with classics like "boy meets girl", "survival dance" and "brave story". After diappearing for 5(!) years the act are back with a brand new album and a secodn disc of TRF classics covered by today's popular JPOP artists. The new album is a return to form for TRF as it is full of upbeat dance songs with a slightly updated sound. The first disc included the hit single "where to begin" as well as lots of other dance tracks. The group do explore slower more urban sounds on the song "precious" but long time fans need not worry about TRF going in a whole new direction. The second disc is equal.ly good. With lots of Jpop acts contributing their versions of popular TRF songs this album will have lots of appeal to all Jpop Fans. RECOMMENDED!! |
