Unique Rock from Japan
|
The Elephant Kashimashi is passionate and very unique in a literal sense. They are one of those bands that are not the mainstream trendy "Rock" bands of Japan, like many of the very J-pop-ish sounding music that are at a plethora and often drains the ear due to the lack of creativity. Their songs on this album especially are one of the best out there. It is true that they are not well known, but their music is one that should be discovered. |

Rock On!
|
This is a great cd album that should draw many customers! Especially US cusomters! Elephant Kanashimi is rising in popularity in JPOP too. Why don't you give them a shot and put them in the "POPULAR SONGS" category? hehe =) thanks > Buy this cd from YESASIA.com!! Best prices! This is a fantastic rock album without just the SCREAMING (in rock) but FULL of melody. They're like WEEZER. I am a hard-core jpop music lover, and totally recommend this CD right along with BoA's LISTEN TO MY HEART album. They are like 80s rock or early 90s rock yet still holding the melodies that make rock a melting course of tastiness to the ears...like WEEZER'S "island in the sun." They also sound like THE BEATLES. Elephant Kanashimi knows HOW TO SING. His voice reaches pretty high mixed with piano/electric guitar. I've bought many cds for $26 from YESASIA, but this one was worth EVERY BUCK> |

Strongly recommended
| This is a very strong album by one of the most interesting recent Japanese groups. Some songs have a very original sound, a sound that can only be found in Japan. By moments, one may think that Spitz is singing. Other songs remind us more of old fashionned hard rock with some touches of punk. Those who can understand Japanese will appreciate the lyrics that are far from boring. This is no Japanese pop. |
