"Lights" is a good CD from globe but I only like the Songs with KEIKO. Especially "Many Classic Moments", "try this shoot" and "Stop! In The Name Of Love". The other Songs are okay.

Globe Globe Globe......They are tuly awesome! This CD came at a great time because I think their career was in trouble with the "Outernet" album. Many people did not respond well to that album at all. But this album is a great comeback. It oinly deserves a 9, though, because it does not contain many songs...it does not give you the sense of a full album. But what it does contain is amazing. "Many Classic Moments" is a beautiful song that is dramatic and wonderful: it is reminiscent of their career in so many ways. "Merry Go Round" has got to be the most unique song on this album along with the best vocal performance on this CD as well, by Keiko. Lovely song. The only thing that bugs me is the line "Anybody don't stop"..it does not sound right...does not make sense. Oh well. Great song. The rest of the album has a trance dance feel to it and it is done very well. Tetsuya proves to us that he is capable of doing anything very well!

This CD does not seem complete. When I listen to it in my car, I feel like it is over way too fast, even though some tracks are long.

Anyways, if "Outernet" scared you, don't lose faith. Lights and Lights 2 defintiely make up for it and are worth picking up. Give it a try. Globe ain't going away any time soon, and that is a great thing to us old Globe fans.

 Fantastic, an ulitimate album Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I was in awe when I heard the first song on this album and the magic didn't stop there. All the songs on this album take you to a diffrent place, and Keiko's vocals are simply amazing. Nothing at all wrong with her vocals. Marc's rapping is still superb, and his solo song "Come into Existance" is truly amazing. Of course, TK's instrumentals are from an other world and I feel this album could become a classic in a few years to come. This album has made me a true Globe fan

Globe knows pop Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
What I really like about Globe is that the melody is dynamic; the tunes do not seem tiresome. Many Classic Moments is gentle techno. Genesis of Next and others are also techno and have a medium tempo. Try This Shoot is what it's all about; it's so catchy it's hard to get out of my head. Merry Go Round is great; it sounds kind of medieval with its gentle strings. Megami and Lights Brought the Future are simple, gentle piano compositions. Overall I liked this album, some songs I loved and the vocals are so good. In the songs, sometimes it seems like the instruments don't flow together quite right, but then Globe has always been inconsistent. The instruments can be weird at times. The album achieves an overall deep and mature tone. Globe is one of the better music artists out there, and they have years of experience in pop music, which shows. If you want something more mature than simple teen pop, Lights is it. It's as good as I expected it to be, although I like Move better. If you like it too, look for Lights 2, the follow-up to this album.
