If you missed out on Vol. 5, The Ballads, this is one for you to consider. It's all ballads, with just a couple that have more of an upbeat, but still ballads. And, what I really love, are three songs in English. His version of Stevie Wonder's "Lately" is just beautiful and likewise track 12, "Back To One". I find that when Mr Sung sings in English his voice takes on a completely different quality, more R&B, which really touches the soul. I also like the duet on track 5 and the lovely ballad on track 9. But, all in all, every song on this album is a winner. It's one of those CD's that you put on to just kick back and relax, and enjoy an extraordinary voice sing some of the most beautiful music you will ever hear.

But, it's worth it for just one song, "The Story Only I Didn't know". I saw her sing this with only piano accompaniment and it was outstanding. The real IU with her extraordinary voice that we don't get a chance to hear as she is buried in the pop culture. I do hope this lovely girl with the gifted voice can one day get out of the pop culture and be able to record real music that her incredible voice is suited for. I highly recommend this CD for that one song.

July 31, 2011 One of the Best!This truly is one of the best Korean Drama/Comedies I've ever seen in nine years of viewing Korean programs. The cast is superb and the writing very witty and at times, heart touching. It's such fun to watch and at the same time very romantic. It really is magic! The cinematography is breathtaking and the music score is simply beautiful, instrumentally and vocally. In every way, this series is a winner.

Don't miss this incredibly beautiful album! These guys have amazing voices with great musical ability and feeling. Their emotions and love of what they're doing come through each and every song. They are all excellent songs and some very heart moving. This is one of the best listening experiences you will ever have. Don't miss it!!!

I can't recommend them enough. If you love harmony and perfect blend, this is for you. I love the fact that because their voices are similar the blend is almost perfect. If one was to watch them sing I would imagine it would be difficult to figure out who's singing what part. And that's the highest compliment that can be paid to any group. I look forward to their future albums and wish them the very best.

He is a very gifted composer. There are such unique, lovely and tender melodies on this album. They are for the romantic heart. I find his music recalls meaningful events in my own life and touching scenes from dramas that I've seen. His music can make tears flow with remembrances. His music can also lift the spirit, quiet the soul and bring peace. Since he is a man of faith, that too comes through in his music. If you want something really special, this CD is for you.

The one everyone hears every time they watch the series, the one they're most familiar with. Well, that is the case with this OST. The main opening theme, so beautiful, is missing. The rest of it is very good, but I love that theme and I really wish it had been included.

The first five songs are by various artists, including one of my favorites, Tim. But, the next five are the accompaniments of the previous singers. Now an instrumental piece of music usually had a melody line, but accompaniment does not as the singer provides that. All the instrumental music from the series is not on this OST. Why is that? Who knows! But, for that reason this will be an OST that I probably won't play much.

It's one of the funniest I've ever seen. I purchased this several years ago and have watched it twice since the original viewing on television. It's just as funny every time. Ho's family and office personnel are extremely humorous and I have a feeling that they had a lot of fun just making this production. Some of the characters are so off the wall and wacky! We all need a good laugh once in a while and this series does it. And believe it or not, I found that some of the peoples in Ho's office were similar to people I've worked with in the past!:-)

Being a fan of Jung Yup and blended vocals, this CD was one I had to get. I love it! There's such a variety of music to enjoy. From the fifties type song on track 4, to the Gospel song on track 14, and everything in between, there's something for everyone. I love their blended vocals in harmony. Absolutely beautiful! I recommend this CD to everyone who likes to sing and harmonize, or who likes to listen to the same.

This lovely lady has such a great voice, and her career is a long one. I think she is truly one of Korea's most gifted entertainers. When I first saw her perform and heard her wonderful voice, I was reminded of two of my favorite entertainers, Judy Garland and Lena Horne. Ms. Lee is in that category for me. One of the very best. This album has some beautiful songs which showcase her excellent vocal abilities, her passion and energy. She delivers like no one else and I recommend this album to everyone who likes a great singer!

However, she is capable of much more than is found on this CD. I first heard IU sing on the Queen Seondeok OST, track 11. She immediately got my attention with her amazing vocal ability. I hope that as she grows as an artist, she will be given the opportunity to sing music that will more showcase her vocal talents. There are some good songs in this album, but she is capable of so much more. I wish her a long and productive career.

March 6, 2011 Mixed FeelingsThis is hard to review. I really liked this CD, as I did JYJ's CD. But, to me, this is not TVXQ. If Changmin and Yunho are going to sing together, they should rename their duo. When listening to JYJ I could definitely hear the TVXQ sound because of Junsu and Jaejung who sang most of the leads in the former group. However, in this CD I could also hear the TVXQ sound, as Changmin also sang leads and Yunho's great bass were very noticeable in TVXQ. Again, as good as this album is I still miss the five of them together and hope that the day will come, after this ridiculous 13 year contract expires, that they will be able to sing together in Korea, for all of us, once again.

Actually, this album reminds me more of M to M's earlier albums of 2004 & 2005. I really like this. Their voices are very powerful and intense, so much so that in some of the higher notes they almost sound frantic. I hope as the years go by that they will learn from those older and more experienced, to relax into the music more. But, I love their blend and they work very well together. I hope we'll see many more albums from them in the future. Like FTTS before them, they will only get better as time goes by.

March 6, 2011 Wait over!For three years I've been waiting for another album from Tim. It's finally here, and it's the best yet!
What a talent he is with such a tender, gentle voice. I love this album and if you're his fan, you will too. The fact that he is a man of strong faith is something I especially appreciate and that comes through in his albums whether singing secular or sacred. Thanks Tim, for another perfectly beautiful album.

However, loving harmony and blending as I do, I find this missing from a lot of their music. I do hope that in the future, they will consider making music that will show their ability to harmonize together. They certainly have the knowledge and voices to do that. But, I love what they do, and highly recommend this album.

The album is a good one, the guys sound great, as usual, and I will support them in whatever they do, as I will Changmin and Yunho. But, as good as they are separated, all over the place, how much better they are all together. I like most of the music on this CD, but am not a fan of Kanye West. JYJ doesn't need that influence, they are talented enough on their own. I do wish them the best in their new career as they explore new genres of music, but, oh how I miss that five part harmony!

It's one of my favorites and I play it all the time. This man has such a great voice and actually sings the high notes instead of yelling them!
