ap bank is a project founded by internationally renowned composer Sakamoto Ryuichi, music producer Kobayashi Takeshi, and Mr. Children vocalist Sakurai Kazutoshi in 2003 to raise awareness for alternative energy and protecting the environment. Since 2005, ap bank has held an annual three-day fundraising music festival featuring ap bank musical unit Bank Band and some of Japan's biggest musical artists, and its 2009 edition now arrives on DVD. In addition to returning performers Otsuka Ai, Kreva, and My Little Lover, the 2009 show also brings new members like JUJU, Koda Kumi, and Salyu. This DVD features the live performance as well as a 10-part documentary about the music festival and a talk about eco-resonance.
