●ストーリー
1945年8月、ドイツ降伏後日本海軍に収容された戦利潜水艦「伊507」。海軍軍令部作戦課長の浅倉大佐は、この艦の艦長に、かつての名艦長で現在は閑職に回されていた絹見少佐(役所広司)を任命。原子爆弾を積んだ敵輸送艦を撃沈するミッションを与えた。
軍属技師として乗艦している高須によれば、伊507にはドイツ軍が開発した特殊兵器「ローレライ・システム」が搭載されているとのことだが、その全貌は高須にしか知らされていなかった。
アメリカ海軍の執拗な追跡と攻撃の中、艦内で叛乱が勃発する。時を同じくして、広島と長崎に原爆が投下される……そして3発目の原爆を積んだB-29が、既に南太平洋上のテニアン島で出撃準備をしていた。その出撃阻止のため、ローレライ・システムを搭載した伊507は、テニアン島に向けて進んでいく。
かくして戦史には残っていない、日本海軍最後の戦いが始まった……。
