Cecilia Cheung (Running on Karma, Cat and Mouse), Lau Ching Wan (Running Out of Time) and Louis Koo (La Brassiere) are the ill-fated lovers in this heartbreaking romance. Siu Wai (Cheung) is a newlywed who suddenly finds herself widowed when her husband was killed in a car accident. Knowing that she still had to go on living and raise her stepson, Siu Wai decides to inherit her late husband's job and become a mini-bus driver herself. She gradually finds comfort in Dai Fai (Lau), a fellow driver who took pity on Siu Wai. As Dai Fai falls in love with Siu Wai, however, he also begins to doubt whether his love for her and her stepson was just an act to compensate his own wrong doings in the past.

Feelings frozen in time
Cecilia Cheung, Lau Ching Wan, and Louis Koo star in Derek Yee's bittersweet tale Lost in Time revolving around a woman's desperate attempt to overcome the loss of the most important person in her life. Cecilia Cheung plays the female protagonist Siu Wai whose life is turned upside-down after her fiance Ah Man (Louis Koo) has a fatal accident. Now left alone to manage not only her own life, but also that of her late lover's young son, Siu Wai's formerly happy life takes on a new gloomy aspect, until an unexpected third party appears to lend her a helping hand.


Cecilia Cheung offers a passionate performance in her role as single parent who struggles to make ends meet, while Lau Ching Wan appears in another of his gentleman roles as Dai Fai, a guy who tries to make up for his past mistakes by helping desperate Siu Wai. Derek Yee's adept direction prevents the tale from getting overly sentimental, yet makes it appealing enough to keep the audience interested until the closing scene. Special praise must also go to child actor Daichi Harashima for his bravura performance as Lok Lok, which makes you wish for a kid with the same charming nature. Combining an endearing story with a look into the competitive world Hong Kong's mini bus drivers are caught in, Lost in Time takes viewers on an emotionally entertaining celluloid ride.

The Best Movie I've Ever Seen Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is the BEST movie I'ver seen. Cecilia Cheung's acting is so brilliant, no wonder she won the BEST ACTRESS Award for this movie. She deserves it. Her acting is flawless! Excellent movie. Two Thumbs Up. Don't miss this gem. This is A MUST Buy DVD.

This is the right movie to BUY!!!! Garanteed you will love it. Made me cry. For sure it will make you cry, Ceilia is so lovely in this movie. They guy looks alittle old, but I've seen him other movies, He is a good actor. Makes me love Cecilia even more.

Hi!! i'm from london, uk. i watched this film on dvd, and i think it is absolutly great! the story line touches your heart, makes you laugh and cry. the little boy is so, so cute! he's so sweet =) a definite one to watch! the kids a star! the other actors were good, cecilia has improved. louis koo looks gorgeous as always, hee hee. lau ching wan was quite funny in this film. well that's my review!! bye! peace out!

This movie is about true to life situation when bad things happened and how do you go on. Cecilia gave a good performances showing us how hard to do it alone. Too bad for Louis Koo's early departure but then this wouldnt be a story. Everything happen for a reason and she will always have a piece Louis trying to raised his son. She was like a real mother to him. It was heart breaking to see her suffered and trying to do the right thing. But I enjoy the movie just looking at Louis KOO!!

Great but lacks a "hook" Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I watched this movie knowing the first bit of it. I honestly expected more from the first half. This movie is a very touching movie with a predictable ending but has some interesting climaxes in between that (like a lot of movies) always gets explained by the characters own words. Cecilia did a great job as the stressed out, helpless "widow". Sean was great adapting to his character's personality and attitude. If only this movie had a better hook in between, it would have been perfect. I would say that Fly Me To Polaris is still better. But this movie made more sense =D
