This idol drama boasts a heavily international flavor, with a production crew based in Taiwan, a Malaysian writer, and actors coming from several different Asian regions. The young and attractive main cast is made up of Thai-French heartthrob Chin (a.k.a. Chinawut Intornkusin), Jack of Malaysian pop duo Thomas Jack, Taiwanese actresses Winnie Chung and Michelle Chang, and Hong Kong actor Ngan Yuet Yan. Of course, it wouldn't be complete without some celebrity cameos, and here we have popular Malaysian singers Rynn Lim and Michael Wong, Korean-American singer Nicky Lee of Machi, and stage artist Lang Tsu Yun.
Eighteen-year-old half-Chinese American kid Joshua (Chin) comes to Taipei for his winter break. His mom of Taiwanese descent has recently passed away in the States, and he is sent here to find the grandma he has never met and tell her the sad news. At first, he struggles to cope with the cultural clash. But after meeting a group of youngsters like Ah Zhe (Jack), Xiao Shan (Winnie), Hai (Michelle), and Sing (Ngan), he's not only found the true meaning of friendship and romance, but also discovered a side of himself he never knew existed...and a new home for his rootless heart.
