Thai pop idols GOLF&MIKE star in the 2008 youth drama Love Beyond Frontier (a.k.a. Ubat Ruk Kaam Kaub Fah). Keeping their own names for their debut drama, younger brother Mike plays a Thai-Japanese youth who travels to Thailand looking for his mother, but he hits some road blocks because he can't speak the local tongue. In this new foreign homeland, he meets Thai youth Golf who dreams of becoming a singer, Pat (Patsaya Kreursuwansiri) who spends too much time on the internet, and Ple (Jarinporn Jookiat) who's obsessed with Japanese culture. The four young people all end up living under the same roof, embarking on a cute and enjoyable journey of fun, friendship, and romance. Written and directed by Ping Lampraplerng, Love Beyond Frontier was followed by a second season in 2009.
