Popular Singaporean actress Zoe Tay stars in Love Cuts, a touching cautionary tale about the irreversible effects of the disease. The Queen of Caldecott Hill plays Sissy, a middle-age woman diagnosed with terminal breast cancer. While she is the one afflicted with the disease, its effect isn't simply physical, as it also changes the lives of her workaholic husband (Hong Kong actor Kenny Ho, Storm Warriors) and her two children. Meanwhile, Sissy meets Kristie, a lingerie model who has also recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. However, Kristie has a chance of surviving, even though she has to do so by getting a breast removal surgery that will destroy her career. Produced to raise breast cancer awareness, Singapore's Health Promotion Board assisted in the making of the film, and Ho even forgone his salary in order to participate in this touching family drama.
