Shadya Lan began as a songsmith behind numerous top Mando-pop female artists, and the voice heard in several TV drama theme songs. So, the Taiwanese singer-songwriter was basically just making other people popular while she herself remained somewhat anonymous. That began to change when she decided to step into the spotlight in 2009 and released her debut album The Secret. A year after that, Shadya is back with another collection of self-written love songs. Her second album "Love in London" comes with 10 tunes that are described as "timeless". The record company is so confident about the album that they decided to unveil three songs from it - "Compasses", "Fish Tears", and "Listen" - three songs that were considered non-major cuts. Other than that, the album also contains Shadya's rendition of "You", her song originally written for Ariel Lin as the ending theme to They Kiss Again.
