A Hong Kong version of Ghost, Love & Let Love! stars the photogenic couple of Julian Cheung and Theresa Lee as lovers separated by the wall between the living and the dead. The two play Cliff and Terry, a sweet, but bickering couple who don't seem to be on the same page - until a marriage proposal is brought up. But the moment cannot last. Cliff is killed in a car crash that nixes all happy endings, and Terry is left to contemplate her loneliness. But Cliff returns as a ghost, and Terry believes the Gods have truly smiled on her. But in accepting a spectral mate, she spurns nice guy Ed (Paul Wong of the rock group Beyond), who she meets while wandering the roads aimlessly. Even Cliff recognizes that a living, breathing man would be better for her than a ghost partner. But will Terry ever realize that?
