Two years ago, Gino, Darren, JR, Kido, and Li Yang tell all music lovers in Taiwan that "We r K One", and now this new generation boy band returns with their second album Love Power! K One has shown their talents in both ballads and up-tempo super beats. They now present 10 power-packed songs in Love Power, with explosive rhythms and expressive ballads blended together. The 5 boys together pen the title track "Love Power", hoping to encourage all youngsters who are looked down upon by adults.
The celebratory 2nd version comes with a 60 minute bouns VCD which contains K One in J-Star Hostel, the commercial for their debut album in 2003, and also 4 MVs (Love Power, I Love U the Most, Seasons in the Sun, First Love).

this is a really good album from a boyband where ALL THE GUYS can actually sing and have good voices. k one have a lot of talent in not only singin but amazing dancing. recommended tracks: 1.LOVE POWER - upbeat & their choreography for it is great..upbeat and beginning reminds me of a michael jackson song. jst dont like wen they sing 'we are the power generation' 9/10 2. CHAMPION - really funky and cool dance disco beats..really unique track stands out from the rest. love the lyrics. 10+/10 3. TOP GUN - rocky song, not really as good as the other tracks quite forgettable. 5/10 4. My Princess - slow ballad, sweet and soft. 7/10 5. LOVE U THE MOST - mid-tempo song shows off their vocals. nice melody. 8/10 6. SPINNING IN CIRCLES - LOVE this song!! such soothin voices in this song love the harmonies. their voices come together perfectly in the chorus. 10+/10 7. Unwanted Pet's Rescue - another upbeat and disco type song which is actually grows on u after more listens...although i think the problem for me is that it sounds too much like an english song. chorus is awesome tho! 9/10 8. SEASONS IN THE SUN - very good cover version of this song which was actually originally by TERRY JACKS in 1974 NOT WESTLIFE! they put a lot of emotion into it..and their accents are cute to listen to. think they should have listened to the original a bit more tho cos there are some mistakes such as 'we known' instead of 'we've known' 9/10 9. MOST PRECIOUS MOMENT - really heartfelt song made more special by the fact members of K ONE wrote it. slow ballad and very sweet. 10/10 10. FIRST LOVE - another slow song with a wonderful melody which is BRILLIANT...u can feel all their emotion put into this song makin it very special and the words are beautiful. 10+/10 |

This album is excellent and beautifully well sung. K One's vocal ability is amazingily talented. This album proves that K One is here to stay. "First Love" and "Love U the Most" are excellent examples of K one's vocal abilities; beautiful harmony lines. K One's version of Seasons in the Sun, an English song originally sung by Westlife is way better than the original. They add more flavor and beauty to the song. For "The Most Precious Momment" Li Yang composes and writes and JR writes the song adding more emotion to the song. "Yong Gan Qu Ai" and "Champion" are also great tracks. They're upbeat and funcky, something that K One always has. Not to mention K One are hot, especially Gino! |

K one is the BEST!!

This is the best album of 'K One' so far! I love all the songs on this album! Especially tracks 1, 2, 5, 6, 7 and 10! And this is the ONLY band whom I like ALL the members! I really enjoyed watching the bonus 2 VCDs; Kido is so adorable, Darren is so H.O.T, JR so cute, Li Yang is quite good too, but my fav is Gino! He is not only gorgeous, but he is the big bro of the group! I LUV U GINO!!!! |

Its Worth Your Money Buying Love Power!

Oh well... If you think that " Its just another boyband? Whats so great abt them?", I have to say that this is just one stereotypical thought. Whats so great about K ONE and their new album? Well, basically everyone who knows about K one knew that these 5 guys not only dance fantastically, they sing well too!! Unlike other boybands which consists of only 1-2 members who can REALLY sing, these 5 gd-looking guys indeed sing well! And what really makes K ONE stands out from the other Taiwanese boybands? Talented Liyang(a member of K ONE) is actually into composing songs. Liyang not only compose their new song "Zui mei de yi ke" which is recorded into their new album, EMI record company has actually pay a handful amt of $ for Liyang to compose songs for EMI's singers. Liyang's talent has recently been approved by all. I've already bought their album and what are you waiting for??? Songs recommanded -> Yong Gan Qu Ai, Zui mei de yi ki, Zui Ai Shi Ni, Rou quan quan, First Love and Seasons In the sun. |
