Actress Qin Hai Lu (Durian Durian) takes on behind-the-scenes duty in a film for the first time as the "script planner" of Love Tactics, an outrageous comedy from writer-director Wu Bing (co-scriptwriter of Bodyguards and Assassins). Qin also has a cameo as a rich woman who hires a scriptwriter and a group of actors to break up a happy couple (played by Tanaka Chie of Cape No.7 and Hong Kong star Daniel Chan). In addition to Tanaka and Chan as the happy couple, Liu Hua (Crazy Stone) and Suen Hing provide plenty of laughs as the two deliciously evil villains in a visually inventive romantic comedy that also integrates animation to deliver the comic craziness. The result is a fresh, charming romantic comedy that fans of the genre can't miss!
Fu (Daniel Chan) and Xin (Tanaka Chie) are a happy, loving couple. However, the rich, powerful Hua (Qin Hai Lu) wants to see them apart for her own reasons, hiring scriptwriter Dou (Liu Hua) to assemble a troupe made of small-time actors and conniving businessman Wang (Suen Hing) that will break the two apart. With 36 major tactics guaranteed to work, the troupe sets off a fierce "love war" that will test the strength of Fu and Xin's love.
