Great. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
LOVEppears is not my favorite Ayu album, but seeing as it is Ayu's album, this album is better than many others that are released by other J-Pop artists. Any Ayu fan should own this album.

I have a question though, does this version come with the bonus remix CD?

LOVEppears is right! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This was the first official Album I got from the Empress of J-pop, Ayumi Hamasaki. And I must say, this is still one of my all time favourites.

Even though this album is more than 7 years old, it's a great album! (plus it was realised on my b-dat when i was only 6 and it was a b-day pressie also. ^^)But the cover just isn't that great. XD But with the appears single cover, the contrsting is a great idea. BLACK & WHITE. (And this was out WAAAY before her double BEST OF CD's, -Black- and -white-. XD)

This CDs was way before it's time. SRSLY. :O

I can't say much on this album since I haven't listened to it in awhile. XD But my favourite songs (and the ones that I recommend the most ;D) are kanariya, Fly High, Who..., appears, Love ~refrain~, Monochrome, Whatever, To Be, Boys & Girls (the song that sky rocket-ed her carrier), and basically AL of the songs.
Yes it's THAT good. 8D GO AND BUY THE JPN VERSION QUICK! IT COMES WITH ANOTHER CD WHICH FEATURES REMIXES OF OLD SONGS. ;3

Ayu did it again! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is a great album!
After A Song for XX, ayu started to really develop herself as an artist. And this album is the starting line... great songs, a great mood, and an amazing product! I bought the Overseas version and I got a BIG surprise finding out that it also includes a mini poster! If you like ayu, then you can't miss this great album.

Dissapointment Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
There are way too many simple, boring songs on this CD, the usual "album fillers". And some of the good songs I had already on her "A BALLADS" album, and since I've listened to it a million times, I was a bit dissapointed that it was the exact songs on this CD. The only really good songs were "Fly High" and "Boys & Girls", which seems to be the only fast songs also. The extra CD with remixes wasn't worth it, I grew bored of the Euromix the house remix was awful. I've noticed with Ayumi's CDs that she always follows a "theme" for the CD, Rainbow was magical, Duty was calmer, "I am..." was strong and powerful... this CD dosen't have a theme, the songs are so different from each other, so I think it was rushed. Put together some uncreative remixes to make it look better and some album fillers so the CD looks like it has a good tracklist. This is her worst album in my oppinion.

Takes the cake for sure! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Even though Ayu has already released several new albums, including reaching 40 singles, I still listen to this album and absolutely love it. Ayu has not since released an album as impressive as this one, although her vocals have improved ALOT. That's mainly because her songs aren't as high, and her voice can manage it better. Still, this album is still worth money and worth a listen - it definitely has something for everybody.

Awful front cover Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10

The only bad thing about this album is the front cover. The songs are very good but this album is more dance, trance wich I love but some songs are poorly done. The bonus CD has 2 megamixes and some remixes from other CDs. Not my favourite album by Ayu but still very good. The quality in the songs are sometimes poor sadly.

Best album she has ever done Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
It's been, what, seven years since this album was released and Ayu still can't top this gem. This album has rock, r&b, pop, techno and trance influences all infused into each song. The best song on the album, by far, has to be And Then..., it is the perfect song, featuring a haunting strings in the background that give the listener the impression of fear going on in the song. This song should've been preformed live, it is that good (omitting her squeaky voice, it would be even BETTER, of course).

It is also interesting to note that nearly every song on this album was a hit, even the dreadful kanariya (african american vocals + squeaky japanese vocals = a ruined song) which has a wonderful beat, but it is ruined by Ayu's incessant whining, which is the case for every song on the album.

Another gem worth listening to is WHATEVER, which is composed by the same guy who did And Then. It has a wonderful trance beat and it sounds absolutely superb. A bit like a parapara song.

The only reason I didn't give this album a 10, is because, you guessed it, Ayu's vocals. As much success as she's achieved, it's still painfully obvious the girl can't sing. This is the only purchase all J-enthusiasts should make by this artist. Believe me, there are better J-singers in the sea.

The real Ayumi Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This was my very first Ayumi CD album that I purchased. I have been a fan ever since. This CD truly a treasure to have. I never get tired of listening to this CD because of the orginality and the catchy songs. I am still a big fan of Ayumi's, although her style has changed over the years she is still one of my favorite singers. If you want to know where it all started then buy this. It is worth the money trust me. Even though it is from 1999, the songs are a lot better than some of the mainstream jpop that is being released these days.

Excellent! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This CD can be considered an excellent compilation of some of Ayumi Hamasaki's greatest hits. Singles like "Boys and Girls", "Fly High", "Trauma", "Whatever", and "Appears" are some of the most popular ones. What really makes this album platinum is the fact that the other songs are also just as awesome as the singles. This album is a must have for new and old Ayu fans!
