Macross - Japanese Dialogue best.
| For those who are Macross fans, we all know that there is no United States digital release of this movie. Unfortunately the only version available for "Do you Remember Love?" is a video version with Australian voice over. Horrid translations lead to a degredation of the movie. This particular VCD is a re-release of the Japanese version. To listen to Lynn Minmay (Mari Iijima's) original songs alone makes this VCD probably the best copy available in the United States. I have been looking for a digital copy of this 1985 release for a long time. Finally Shogakukan Panorama Entertainment has re-released it in VCD format. I highly recommend watching it in Japanese, but this copy is also voiced over in Cantonese for those chinese viewers. Note: There is no english subtitles on this version. Quality: Definitely a simple conversion from the original video release into VCD. Recommend: Buy Note: I have heard there is a DVD release of this movie. Although I've seen them on sale over many little sites, YesAsia needs to make it available! |
