Far from delicious Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
My reason to watch is Jerry. He is the most popular F4 member yet with the fewest project, so I thought I would have entertainment from him with Andy lau and Sammi as bonus. I'm disappointed. There's nothing wrong with the acting in this movies. Jerry is as adorable as little rabbit as ever. Andy Lau being Andy Lau and Sammi is being Sammi. So does the rest of the strong cast. This movie proves that strong actors can't save bad script/weak plot. It's like the movie can't find what to focus on. The poster definitely misleading. It suppossed to be picture of Andy-Sammy and Jerry together. Not just Sammy and Jerry on front. Jerry's screentime is not much. The directing is not strong enough, the editor obviously finds difficulty what to bring out from what has been shot.Watching this movie feels like watching how celebrities having fun. And Jerry probably just curious of the experiences shooting together with big stars or Sammi is really good in persuading him. Imagine less fun Ocean movie with Chef as theme.

pretty bad Customer Review Rated Bad 3 - 3 out of 10
yeah, this movie isn't the greatest, and it's definitely not nearly as good as any of the other sammy movies. there wasn't enough character development (a story about 3 couples), and the relationship between sammy and her friends are quite unbelievable (and so developing that may be worthwhile). the attempt to relate cooking to personalities is too artificial. there was too little focus, i guess because it tried to describe everyone instead of just sammy.

Major flop Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
Here are the reason's why I bought this movie:
F4's heartthrob Jerry Yan is in it
2) It's so cheap.
When I got it, I ripped open the package to and immediately popped it in. Boy.. was I disappointed. You would think that with Sammi Cheng, Andy Lau, and Jerry Yan this would be a big hit! Unfortunately, there was no outstanding acting from ANY of the actors in this film. Jerry Yan is as adorable as ever, but that's all he is in this movie. A pretty face. It's not as funny as other chinese movies I've seen nor is the plot interesting. Take my recommendation and don't buy the movie. If you really must watch it, rent it or borrow it. Honestly though, I regret spending $8.00 **including shipping+handling** just for this movie.

Well... Customer Review Rated Bad 3 - 3 out of 10
I admit it's one bad movie, but I won't give it zero star. Hehehehe... First of all, don't ever adapt the idea of "Iron Chef" to a movie period. That show has its own clasification and it's just plain dumb to "steal" their idea. Next, I think after gazillion movies, Sammy should start considering to be more selective in her roles. Her character here, to me, is similar to her other ones in different movies like "Once Upon A Thief" or "Needing You". Storyline is weak, typical messy love stories. I do find Jerry Yan is cute in this movie, though his acting is so so, well, his role doesn't require a lot of work anyways. If you like to look at pretty actors and don't care about storyline AND have plenty of time in your hands, go see this movie. Other than that...you should be okay skipping it. :)

It's an ok "rental" Customer Review Rated Bad 3 - 3 out of 10
I bought this dvd and watch it once and will never watch it again. The movie's plot is weak and the acting is ok. Frankly, I think it's a movie to rent or to borrow from a friend. I still shake my head everytime I look at this dvd cover and think "WHY?!" So much talent for such a poor script and storyline. I am only giving it a rating bc I have bought it and watched all the way through.

Not a good movie Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
A promising star cast with experienced veterans Sammi, Andy and with famous Taiwan’s F4 member Jerry. The movie is not as good as previous Sammi’s romantic-comedy movie and to be frankly dispappointing. Andy Lau was only featured as a star-guest and there wasn’t many laughable scenes if you are intending to purchase a good comedy.

Andy+Sammi Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Once again we have Andy Lau and Sammi Cheng working together on a sweet romantic.Only this time there's another man,Jerry.Do we have a love-triangle?Well...watch the movie and see! It's worth watching...quite a goOd movie.Except...it's nice how they get a cast from different nations to try and make the movie more interesting, but I really don't like voice-overs.

Enjoyable movie!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Enjoyable movie! I loved the on location scenes in Japan. Plenty of jazz music in this movie. I really enjoyed the speech by Sammi's character at the end of the movie during the Iron Chef competition. 2 Thumbs up.
