Worth buying.. Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Very entertaining! Worth buying. Hadn't heard much about this movie prior to watching it and was relatively surprised. The story line is fairly decent with writer's of the film giving a lot of different insights into people's perspective on love. Solid performances from all actors, although I found Jerry Yan's performance a bit too 'wood' at times. Heaps of guest stars and excellent music contributed to the overall watch-worthyness of the film. 2 thumbs up!

Had high expectation of this movie but nothing was met. Everything was left hanging in the air, why mention about the family curse when there's no resolution in the end? There was too much talking and not much action and if she really was an awesome chef, at least show her cook something! It lacks originality and should have been left as a book where the reader's imagination can bring it more alive than the direction of this movie.

why do all the reviews sound like they've been written by the same person?

good looking cast, especially the Q, but no direction in the movie. all in all not worth the while.

I really like this movie because it brings out different aspects of love through food. This movie's theory highly resembles the 90's Eat Drink Man Woman. This movie after you finished, it'll leave a tingling feeling in you unlike many of the HK movies lately which you forget as soon as you're finished with it. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone with a brain and like something provoking in thoughts.

why did everyone praise this movie like it was god's gift? it was such a weak plot.. and apart from the fact that the cameos were good i really dont have much to say abt this.. sammi's so called 'touching' words were out of place.. how the hell did she even get to make the speech in the first place?! typical chinese movie i'd say.. making a movie for the sake of making one..

In this film Sammi has a new acting style, personally I am a big fan of Sammi's so I would say it was a breakthrough her acting career.. this is my favourite role of hers comparing all her previous films. No longer that CRAZY girl, but a more mature kind of acting.
I also think there is a different style for some other artists e.g. Maggie Q, whose attraction became more adverted in this film by her role.
The other actresses/actors also give the audience a 'fresh' feel of acting in this film.
Hehe.. and finally the story also reflect some very truth in real life, things between friends and relationships... I like it very, very much ^^

This moive is ok, but i don't really like jerry i think he can't act. its only people like him because he was peviously a F4 memeber and the series Metor Garden thats how jerry got famous but i dun see why girls like him when jerry is not a good looking guy

I love this movie!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This movie is so cute!!!!! Not many people would have thought of mixing food with romance, but this movie does, and it does it with some magic. Great huh! But wait, beside cute appetite love romance story, what I like most about the movie is that it has the best and good looking stars all in one movie for us to watch. Isn't that great! I don't know about you guys but I'm always look for a well make movie with good story, good acting skill, and good looking people is a triple plus to watch. Basically, I really enjoy this movie. It makes me feel love is in the air. Alright, I can't hold anymore, I have to say it out that I'm a big fan of jerry. I love sammi and andy lau too. I only have one thing to say, and that is, I wish they will give jerry a bigger major role next time because he has a lot of potentail and it is time for him to shine on his own, cause I want to see more and more of him and lots of him. :P :P :P

I'm a huge Jerry fan, so this movie is perfect for me to see. He's really funny in the movie but he did a great job because his real personality is different from Ho. I like the movie very much overall, all the casts did a great job and I like the storyline very much. Lol.

This movie was pretty cool. The girls are hot especially Sammi and the plot is cool. It kind of reminds me of Sex and the City, but with cooking and less sex. Good film, overall. I'd recommend it, especially if you're a Sammi Cheng and Andy Lau fan.
