DAI's 15th Single. Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Mahou No Kotoba is a good song that sort of sounds like We Are. Its background music is a little bit repetitive though. Mellow Amber is a dramatic ballad like so many other DAI songs. But Mellow Amber is definitely distinctive. All in all a very good single.

Great song, cute DVD, stupid "copy" protection Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I saw Do As Infinity in concert in July, and they played this song. I'd say it was probably my favorite song of the entire concert (which also featured Ikuta Aiko, Day After Tomorrow, Exile, Dream, Every Little Thing, and Ayumi Hamasaki). With a lineup like that, I thing it's saying a lot that this was the catchiest song there. The only other song on the disc is Mellow Amber, which isn't too bad either. The rest are all karaoke instrumental tracks.

The music video is kind of clever, if maybe a bit corny for some. Basically a bunch of wedding cliches punctuated by Owatari messing around on stage. The DVD itself is anamorphic widescreen. I'm not sure if that's the standard or not, but it satisfies this videophile.

The only thing I disliked about this CD was the so-called "copy control." Copying? Nero doesn't mind it. How about ripping and posting on the internet? Well, I'm listening to an Ogg Vorbis rip I made when I first bought it. Just fired up CDEx and worked on the first try (and no, I have *not* shared it on the internet). What if you want to pop in the CD and listen to it? Well, you're out of luck. It crashed every media player I threw at it, and will likely cause problems for older stand-alone CD players. It's fairly obvious that copy control doesn't work. They should call these "copy only" CDs, because that's the only way to listen to them.

Other than that, a great single.

Maho no kotoba - would you buy it? Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Since the release of their latest album, DAI comes back with a different style and sound. The title track "Maho no kotoba- would you marry me?" has a unique style of ska, jpop, and a little flavor of jrock with ryo's guitar. It may take a few listens to really like it, but otherwise it is a really great song. The second track "Mellow Amber" is a somewhat mellow track itself with their usual DAI rock sound with violin strings, similar to the past single "Fukai Mori." It starts off quietly and then finishes off with a dramatic ending you will love. And since this is with the DVD, you're really in for a treat. It really shows how much fun Tomiko and Ryo have. Even though this single may not be the band's best, please buy it! You will surely love it!

Really Nice :) Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I think "Would you marry me" is a tune, that you have to hear twice but then it is a song that makes your trouble fly away ;) The DVD is really nice to watch and shows the funny scenes.
"Mellow Amber" I think is more the style of D.A.I. - and I really like the voice of Tomiko Van in this song.
All in all a great tune :)

I Love It ^^ ! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is a great release. Tomiko is as sweet as ever and Ryo is a proper joker. The music video is fun and cheery. I’ve been playing it on repeat since. Highly recommended!
