Created and produced by AKB48 Akimoto Yasushi, the late-night drama Majisuka Gakuen can essentially be described as Crows Zero in an all-girls high school. Starring the members of AKB48 (including research students), the first installment of the 12-episode drama series saw successful ratings in its late night time slot thanks to the popularity of AKB48 and its girl power elements. A year later, the girls are back for more tough schoolyard battles in Majisuka Gakuen 2!
Popular member Maeda Atsuko is back as the transfer student whose transformation from serious, introverted girl into a ruthless fighter made her the queen of Majisuka Gakuen. This year, Maeda has moved up to year three, and that means she will face new challenges from new enemies, played by fellow AKB48 members Oshima Yuko (playing twin sisters of her character from the first installment), Itano Tomomi, and Minegishi Minami.
This DVD set comes with a bonus DVD with bonus materials and a set of five photos (randomly chosen from available styles).
