January 29, 2010 wrong actressWrong pick of leading actress and leading actor. Mrs Liu is a wonderful actress, but her image does not match this drama at all! There is some kind of unsatisfied sorrow all the time, as if she picked up a husband just to please her friend. In fact in the original version, she was a much more independent girl, after what she had been through. She picked her writer husband because he attracted her in a way the pianoplayer never did.

The best part of this film is Roy Liu, he plays the psychologist who married the heroine, mostly because he needed a wife! For me this movie is in a way a bad copy of Pearl curtain.

The Princess Of Xin Yue (26VCDs)(End)
January 28, 2010 what a love story!I am not very found of a polygyny relationship, but I understand in many cases this kind of arrangement could make someone happy! Roy Liu was a very likeble rollfigure in this drama, there is a noticeable dynamic in his voice. I was a little sad when I watched this drama for the first time, not because of the drama itself, I was sad because the dramatic sudden break of the real life love affair between double Lius!

I am not sure I would like to have such a gentleman as a husband, since I profer an indenpendet life style where I have a enough space to define my own normality. But I love to watch how he explained all important lessons of life to his young bride, everytime she was sad and confused.

July 8, 2009 20 years with Dave
What a fine album, in the last 20 years Dave gave us a few of the finest piece of music in the mando-pop
world, he had a lot of different faces during the last two decades, in the beginning he was a rebell rock prince with a desire to conquer the who world. A few years later, when he was the king in the asian pop society, he just vanished like a Summar wind. In a way he also recorded one of his best song in his career according to me, A dream in a dreamless night. This song is the best conduction of his music style. Not everyone got the energy to carry a dream with oneself, a dream is something far away and it often requires some effort to make this dream come true. But if you do not carry a dream with you, there will be a huge emptyness in one's soul, a place where you can be true to yourself... He best songs were recorded at the end of the nineties, when he came back to the music industry again. Sadness 1999 was not included in this album, this is my personal favorite. His voice changed with the years, for me he changed to a whole new gentleman. An experienced singer with a great selfconfidens. He was not conservative, but more hounest in his music production. It gave me an amazing feeling, when I listen to his latest hit single Farewell, crazyness.

Esprit D'Amour
May 14, 2009 A complicated movieThis is a complicated movie and Dave Wong did not appear untill the end of the movie. Dave was playing hiself if you ask me, it is difficult to like him and it is even more difficult to dislike him. He is not the stereotype hero in a movie, but he was so likeble when he starts to explain his life philosophies. When the nurse try to get close to him, he was not very active but he showed an hounest interest for her dreams and her deepest desire. On the surface he does not got the greatest selfconfidence for his carrer and made his living by coorperate with the "bad guys", but once he found someone who truly believe in him, he started to take life seriously and did his best to keep a job to the rest of the world that he is a responsible man. I felt confused after I watched this movie for the first time and started to love this movie after I have watched it three times.

April 11, 2009 The best songs from his pastI never thought I would like to listen to the same songs now as I did when I was a teenager. Thanks to Youtube, I started to enjoy Dave Wang's music again, just a few weeks ago. Yesterday once more! I am older and have got more experinces from my life and past love stories. His songs have got a deeper meaning in my life and I just got even more addict to his melodies! So many people love to speculate his love life and his childhood expericens, what they should to is to listen to his songs, because his songs have explained everything!! He is not just a sad ranger, rather a poet who could decribe the secrete of life with the most beautiful lyrics and sing it out! His songs touched my soul the first time I heared them and his lyrics have always been one of the most strong inspiration on my journey to my own childhood dreams! I love his products and hope he will release a new CD with his present style soon!
Good luck my childhood Hero!

April 6, 2009 Such a fantastic Album!
Dave Wong is such a great rolemodel, a poor kid without the most desireble background made his way up to the top by his talent and his passionate search for the deepest soul in pop music! The sound from this Album is much better than his old albums by many reasons, his sound is much more mature and the new remix of his classical songs got a new dimension. It was fan to listen to his interpretation of a few of the most popular pop songs from the eighties, the sound was sad at the beginning, but all the feelings transformed to something else after a while. Just like his own life, there is always a new hope on the other side of the horizon, all the difficulties on the way are just like a thick brick wall, it is possible to break the wall, if you really commited. The most important thing is to alow yourself to follow the passion you found inside of you, do not let the past to define your identity, your origin will always be your best guide on the journey to the future.

The Legend Of The Flying Swordsman
April 6, 2009 This movie is more than okej! When I ordered this movie, I mainly want to see an other face of Dave Wang, since he was so handsome in my childhood memories. I had simply no expectations at all. The movie is very okej, the language is beautiful and music is fantastic! Just what I needed to watch a Friday evening with some potato chips and a Coke. I like it!

Gold: Greatest Hits (Taiwan Version)
April 3, 2009 Lever svensk musik!Waterloo was the first hit the group made embrace everyones heart in Europe, and our last Summer made them even more popular, when my mother was a young girl. I have had this CD in almost 20 years and I still love to listen to it, especially the Mega hit, The winner takes it all! If you want to enjoy ABBA, try to listen to Waterloo and Ring, ring in Swendish, they sung even better in their native language.

The Lonely Star
April 3, 2009 one of his best classic CDMany people would like to regard A game, a dream or Annie as his greatest songs from the old time, for me the song nr six in this Album was the song I want to listen to over and over again, everytime I feel resemblence about my own life. God is not always fair, sometimes he seems has gone for a holliday when you need him the most. I want to find a way to express all notable different nuance of his voice when he sung this song, from hopeless, sentimental to a mood, when he was almost ready to give up... ... At the end of the song, by some strange reason I almost regained some new trust in everyting again.
