Great Album!!!!
| This is the best that Nami has done EVER! She is so talanted and yet so young. This album is so fast paced and up-beat. The best song, I'd say, is Kurayami Monogatari. It's very smooth and a little touch of darkness, with Fly Away and Truth coming in a close second and third. If you like this album, then check out her next album Speciality! |

Nami can take you on an adventure
| Man, this girl is keeping the Eurobeat feeling alive, and shes doing it extremely well. Id never heard any of Namis music before, so this was a blind purchase for me, but its one Im glad I took the leap of faith on. This album certainly grabs you right from the beginning, and doesnt let go. Namis control of her voice impressed me for someone so young, especially since so many female artists who sing in the same style tend to be a bit pitchy. However, Nami never seems to lose her control, in spite of the sometimes rapidly changing melodies that she follows. For the most part, this album has a feel that really matches well with its title- many of the instrumentals had a future sound, something I usually like to picture as being space music. (Think Two-Mix-esque.) Its not just electronica; it has a particularly mystical and outward-searching feel. Its hard to describe, but you know it when you hear it. In addition, the songs on this album have extremely catchy melodies, especially for the choruses, so youre almost never going to find yourself sitting still while you listen to this music. Thats what I like to call entertaining. My favorites on this album were Reason, Future Step, Heroine, Kurayami Monogatari, and Reason Reproduction ~Flash Forward Mix~. |

Go Nami!!
| This album is just amazing, and I can't believe that Nami is only 17 years old!! Her voice is very mature and it shows from the tracks on this cd. Unlike Nick from the previous review, I liked Fortune and think that it's one of the best if not the best song on the album. I didn't really like future step nor the make progress instrumental, but I did find all the songs very catchy. However, one song that I really didn't like was Heart and soul, I thought that the song was pretty much annoying. If you haven't heard of Nami Tamaki before, I would recommend this album or her previous album (Greeting) to anyone that enjoys fast paced japanese music. |

Nami Made Her Progress, she's here!!
|
Wow! It's unbelievable to think that it's been over 2 years since Nami has debued! It's hard to think that "Beleive" was out when she was 14, and now she's 17 O_O! This album marks Nami's Progress as an artist, as the name specifies. This album has way more mature vocals by Nami, and the each of the singles is very much different from the next! Keep-Smiling Nami, and Continue to "Make Progress" -Fly Away- - This is a perfect opening track for the album, as the name requests, she's flying away, and we continue to hear awesome electric guitar effects, and bits of English by Nami! 9.5/10 Reason - Busting it up next is the first ending theme to "Gundam SEED Destiny", this song was my absolute favorite song since it was released to -ahem- well you'll see as you read on. I'm sure if you're reading this you know the song 10/10 Daybreak - Well, as we continue w/2 awesome tracks, we do have to get a filler, too bad it was one of album's new tracks that it had to be 8.5/10 Future Step - Wow, this song is so cool! Nami has tons of english poured into this track, awesome backing vocals too 9.5/10 Truth - This track was a B-Side from the Reason Single, I would've much prefered Promised Land, but that's okay 9/10 Daitan ni Ikimashou ^Heart&Soul^ - Would you have ever thought that a 16 year old girl in Japan would cover an A*Teens track? Better believe it, the original A*Teens version is "A Perfect Match", Go Nami for making an awesome new version! 9.5/10 Make Progress -inst- - No Real comment, awesome way to enter the next track Heroine - Here it is! The Best Nami Tamaki song to date, this song is full of way cool club tech effects and awesome guitar effects, of course, you rock my socks! 10/10 Story of Darkness - Wow, this was an interesting track, starting out w/the prog-rock effect, than going in to the classic Nami style...I suppose she "Enjoys Dakuness" 10/10 YOU - Not My favorite, but a cool slow song, different from every other song she's had plus she wrote it also 9/10 Fortune - Meh, This song is Nami's worst single track, I don't know what it is, but it reminds me of Utada's "Movin' on Without You", and it seams as if it's a recycled version, this track wins points for a cool outfit in the PV Version - 8.5/10 DreamerS - The very first Nami song the she wrote ALL by herself(Be Positive was co-written) This track I've liked so much more than Fortune, and I was angered when they chose to release Fortune as teh single, when DreamerS seriously would've doen better 9.5/10 Distance - And we grow on to Nami's worst song ever, man do I just hate this song! I can't believe it was chosen (From ^Heart&Soul^ Single) over Special Birthday, that is a way better song, and a way better way to end the album-Distance is non-occuring to me in this album 7.5/10 Reason -Flash Forward Mix- - This is it, if you liek the original, there's no doubt you'll like this version, extremely sped up, and WAY awesome beeps, and bops, and everything else! 10/10 Presentation - You can really tell by the presentation that this album took time, and really shows her maturity - 10/10 Album Pictures - A notch, so muhc higher compared to Greeting, wow, I went on for 45 pages seeing Nami in the same polka dotted dress, this time we get to see her in a nice mini skirt, in a very cool car...and also, in a Final Fantasy-esque Garden (reminds me of Aeris) Limited Version Bonuses - Iwas really dissapointed when I heard that for buying the Limited Version you'd get the PV's. Well, I already ordered Nami's Make Progress DVD, and I was very aggravated that SONY would cheap out like that. They could've given us, iono, maybe stickers, or a poster, maybe a wristband, no the 4 PV's that are released on DVD (today actually) I really liked w/Greeting how we got a DVD of performances of Gundam SEED Festival, and a bonus book w/lyrics, atleast in this version we got a sparkly cover, and an oversized CD Case - 9/10 Overall(this is not an average) - 10/10 I can't give |

Amazing!!
| Nami has a very powerful, mature yet girlish voice and this album shares Nami's wide range of vocals with her fans. Every song on this album is very well sung and the songs are very catchy. If you haven't heard Nami's music before, this is a great album to start with. I know the album is quite expensive, but it's definitely worth the money. If you are unsure of the music go to www.tamakinami.com and there are samples of her songs on all her albums. |

Tamaki Nami is a Rising Star
| Tamaki Nami has an amazing set of vocals and her songs are just great. The only song in this cd that I really didn't like was future step, but the rest of the cd was great especially reason and fortune. If you haven't heard her songs yet, I would highly recommend this cd or her first album greeting. |

Very Good ^_^
|
I actually really liked this C.D. It lived up to my expectations. It has a mixture of rock, pop, and Euro-beat. You must remember that she's only 16, she has time to grow and mature as an artist. Sure, her voice isn't up to par in some places, but overall she has a very good voice, with lots of potential. I actually think that her voice quality is better than a lot of "top" Japanese singers. The album, "Make Progress," is appropriately titled. I liked most of the songs, especially Heroine, DreamerS, Fly Away, Reason, Fortune, and Daybreak. If you're interested in rising stars with good quality of voices, listenable songs, then Tamaki Nami is worth a look into. Hopefully we will hear more from this growing artist in the future. Happy Listening! |

Very Good
| I really enjoyed Nami's second album. My favorite songs are Heroine, Reason, Distance, and Daitan ni Ikimashou-Heart & Soul. This is a diffenet must for Nami Tamaki fans, but if you are not a fan of light-hearted,pop,fun music this is not for you. I hope that Nami will continue to musically grow with each new release. |
