An improvement from the last album Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I've been a great takako fan and have bought all her singles and albums. I must say she has the potential to sing, unlike the Speed counterparts who screech alot. Just that her songs are not very popular but they are NICE. Her attempt at "kiss you jounetsu" is great and maybe she can sing more such songs and further improve her singing. Her recent singles are all quite good but not very commercialised. Though she is not very popular still, I'll still support her and keep on loving her music!

Takako's new song is pretty nice. I perfer Glory alot more. But it has a catchy chorus and sorta huanting melody. You would be better off just buying her album "papu" to get this song plus many other songs

Takako really has changed alot the music matches her full of surprises make up shadow is awesome Takako rocks it like it should be i am in america and i heard of her Takako is becoming a top JPOP diva watch out Ayu Hamasaki watch out BoA Takako is right around the corner!

The latest Uehara Takako single is no shadow of he Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I didn't know what to expect from a song with the title "Make-up Shadow". I didn't know if it would be a typical girl-pop song. However, this is a fantastic voyage into her blues-pop style, and much resembles my other favorite song by her, GLORY~kimi ga iru kara~. It has now been a year since her first single on Avex's SONIC GROOVE label, and this is a pre-album single release for her new album coming soon.
While it seems like a blues song, it's stylish and elegant at the same time. She furthermore shows off her elegance and great figure with the single cover and promotional video (aired on japan MTV stations).
Takako truely is a bombshell artist compared to her counterpart Speed members, and definitely proves it with Make-up Shadow. Be sure to at least catch the album next month if you do not buy this single release!
