Beat of the Summer

The FLARE's fourth single is quite a simple one this time around. Although it's been released for almost a year now, it's still a fun beat to listen to. A very catchy tune by the band's vocalist, YUNA, it definitely captures the feeling of summer. And of course, his voice soars like Sugizo's guitars, which compliment each other. This song will definitely get stuck in your head and you will be singing along with it without notice. ^-^ The instrumentals provide a more indepth listen for fans who want to pay attention to Sugizo's playing (or for karaoke). And as for the PV on the DVD, the PV is a fun-filled summer-themed PV. As awkward as it is, its strangeness does not do justice to the fantastic song. A better PV could have been done, but, I guess it's artistic enough? For first-time listeners, this is the single to listen to for more pop sounds. As for long-time fans, it's a wonderful edition to their line of singles (as this is the last one before the album). |
