母親の不倫がトラウマとなり、子供の心のまま成長してしまった兄ギテ（キム・サンジュン）と、他者と人間関係を結ぶことに悲観的な弟のギウク（シン・ヒョンジュン）。ギウクは兄の世話をしながら海辺で旅宿を営み、読書に没頭する静かな日々を送っていた。そんな旅宿にある日、夫に見捨てられ、行き場をなくしたミョンジャ（シム・ヘジン）が娘マリアを連れて訪れ、宿に住みつくようになる。次第に兄ギテはミョンジャを愛するようになり家族のようになっていく。ギウクは愛する兄のためふたりを取り持とうとするのだが、逆にミョンジャに誘惑され、関係を結んでしまう。兄ギテへの家族愛とミョンジャへの愛の間で揺れ動くギウクの苦悶の日々が始まった・・・。

So disappointing Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10

If not for Sim Hyun Jun, i would not have bought this movie. Waste of money and time. I think it took me 3 sittings for me to be able to finished this film. Ridiculous story.

Good movie Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10

Nothing sugar-coated, some dramatic moments, rather little disturbing especially toward the end. Sat and watched through the entire movie. Cover pretty much tells the story.
