 Good film, inappropriate title Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Many reviewers have described "Marriage is a Crazy Thing" as a love story. I don't think that's right. Unfortunately, our vocabulary lacks appropriate words to describe the relationship between the complex characters skillfully played by Uhm Jung Hwa and Garm Woo Sung in this involving film.

Miss Uhm and Mr. Garm meet on a blind date. We learn quite quickly that both of them are essentially selfish, self-involved people who aren't much interested in each other except as potential sex partners. They choose to indulge their desires.

As they continue to meet and continue to end up in bed, a certain mutual affection develops, but both remain too inherently self-involved to describe their relationship as love.

Eventually they come to a crossroads in their relationship. Miss Uhm has decided she wants to get married. Mr. Garm has decided that he has no interest in marriage. The Latin root of the word "decide" means to "cut off"; when one makes a decision, one cuts off the other options. However, Mr. Garm and Miss Uhm simply are too selfish to cut themselves off from their occasional trysts.

Miss Uhm builds a gilded cage in which to keep her weekend sex partner. Mr. Garm chafes at their relationship. Will they choose to fully embrace each other or to go their separate ways?

The film resolves this dilemma in an honest and satisfying way that is true to the stunted natures of its main characters. While the film is visually unremarkable, its sophisticated study of unfulfilled lives is memorable. Highly recommended for a mature audience.

If you are looking for great sex scene after scene, then don't buy it. Very little sex but a good storyline about love forbidden and without closure. I would buy this for the love that is expressed by the woman to a man she loves and do things together, care for him and loved him unconditionally. Cheers!!!!

I really like this movie..and not shame to admit that I watched it more than once...for the love story. I was rooting for them to be together...and I'm left to wonder in the end. He's poor and against marriage. She's looking for marriage and stability. Two people who seems not right for each other are destined to be together. They love each other and showed each other how much they cared... Have you ever felt that you were in a crazy marriage with someone even when you were not married?? Besides, the LOVE scenes are not too x-rated, it's very romantic.

This movie was very interesting to say the least. Makes you think. Would you marry for love or for money?? It was very sad..and I cried when he hugged her and didn't want to let her go. It's a good romantic movie.

This movie tackle the structure of marriage and whether love is involve. I didnt think I was going to like this move at all, and the only reason why I watched it, is becuase the girl was cute. But I quickly discover the beauty and meaning of the pilot. This movie is not for everyone, but dont be surprise if u can't stop watching...

I really liked watching this movie. It wasn't overly sappy or dramatized, it was very real and intense. The ending was so moving and heartbreaking, anyone that enjoys a good love story should see this!

This movie is uncommon from the beginning. The characters pull you into their worlds and you are pulled into their lives and left trying to understand for each side. You start hoping that these two will see what you see which is that they are very much in love and cannot live without one another. The sex in this movie is meaningful and not just thrown in for indulgence. It is tastefully done. Uhm Jung Hwa shows that she is more than a singer. The only disappointment is the ending which is confusing and leaves you hanging. Aside from the ending, I strongly recommend this movie. It will pull your heart and still give you some hope for love
