홍회장 일가는 이제 대한민국에서 손꼽히는 ‘김치’ 회사로 그 명성을 드높이게 된다. 하지만 날이 갈수록 여성스러워지는 큰 아들과 바람기가 여전한 둘째, 그리고 아직도 조폭 습성을 버리지 못하는 셋째 때문에 홍회장의 고민은 깊어만 간다. 그러던 어느 날, 일본에서 김치 대체 식품인 일본산 ‘기무치’ 때문에 일본 시장 타격을 입게 되었다는 보고를 받은 홍회장은 해외출국금지령이 풀렸다는 소식을 듣자마자 일본 시장을 둘러보기 위해 세 아들들과 수행원인 종면을 데리고 일본으로 날아간다.

일본으로 간 가족들은 환전을 하는 도중 예기치 못한 은행 강도를 만나게 되고 백호파 자존심상 지나칠 수 없는 의기를 발동, 은행 강도를 일망타진 한다. 하지만, 강도를 잡고 의기양양 하는 사이 뒤늦게 출동한 경찰에 의해 강도로 몰리는 오해를 받게 되고, 설상가상 도주하는 강도 두목을 뒤쫓아 계획에도 없던 무일푼 일본 여행을 하게 되는데…
