2002년 05월 1집 앨범을 발매하는 신인치고는 수많은 수식어와 화제를 불러 일으켰던 MC Sniper …
‘무관의 제왕’ 에서 부터 힙합의 음유시인, 민족MC 까지 마치 적어도 몇장의 앨범을 발매한 가수처럼 많은 수식어와 관심으로 다가온지 1년만에 2번째 앨범을 발표한다. 2집 앨범역시 사회적인 문제도 많이 다뤘지만 개인적인 이야기도 많이 다뤘다. 또한 여태껏 한국 힙합음악이 시도하지 않았던 국악과의 접목과 앨범속지에서도 느낄 수 있는 Sniper 만의 한국적인 색깔등…2집 앨범에서는 더욱더 그가 대한민국의 자랑스런 힙합 뮤지션임을 알리고 있다. 이러한 시도들이 앨범을 발매하기도 전부터 외국에서부터 많은 Love Call을 받고 있다.
이번 앨범의 수록곡은 총20곡으로 타이틀곡만 잘 만들고 나머지 삽입곡을 대강 만들어 채우는 다른 가수들과는 비교할 수 없을 정도의 꽉찬 내용을 가지고 있으며, 또한 힙합 이면서도 Sampling에 의존하지 않고 대부분의 Rhythm Part, String Part를 Real Recording을 하여 Album Quality를 한층 높였다.

This album really sounds like Korean Hip-hop album.. with traditional korean music (no not Japanese as someone below mentioned) mixed in with some songs. |

I'm very impressed with MC Sniper, in this new album he has managed to create an impression that is as good as, if not better, than my last Sniper CD 'Limited Edition'. It contains many awesome tracks, with a very strong japanese influence as well as some reggae, Sniper has a very distinctive sound and a strong voice. Tracks range from ballad type that are similar to BK Love to fast hip hop/reggae. One of my favorite CDs! |
