It's ikemen paradise all over again in the hit Fuji TV drama Mei-chan no Shitsuji. Eikura Nana from My Sister, My Love and Proposal Daisakusen stars as the eponymous heroine Mei-chan, a cheery orphan schoolgirl who suddenly learns that she is the granddaughter of a mysterious tycoon. She's whisked away to the exclusive boarding school St. Lucia Girls' Academy, where all the students have butlers! Although Mei-chan is less than enthused with the princess life, she soon develops a close bond with her perfect butler Rihito, played by popular heartthrob Mizushima Hiro (Zettai Kareshi). But danger lurks behind every corner as top student Lucia (Yamada Yu, Binbo Danshi) plots to get rid of Mei-chan and steal Rihito back.
Based on Miyagi Riko's popular manga, Mei-chan no Shitsuji features an eye-candy cast of rising stars including actors Sato Takeru (Rookies, Kamen Rider Den-O), Mukai Osamu (Honey and Clover), and Kato Keisuke (Kamen Rider Kiva), and actress Tanimura Mitsuki (Cat Street).

東雲メイはごく普通の１７歳の女子高生だったが、交通事故により讃岐うどん屋だった両親を亡くす。両親の葬式の日、本家から迎えに来た執事の柴田理人から、父親が、実は大富豪「本郷家」の長男にして本郷グループ全社の後継者である事を知る。一夜にしてお嬢様となったメイは周囲と自分自身の身の安全の為、また淑女教育を受けるべく、聖ルチア女学園に入学する。聖ルチア女学園は、１人の女子生徒につき１人の執事が付くという、究極のお嬢様学校。全寮制で、生徒のランクにより「太陽（ソーレ）寮」、「月（ルナ）寮」、「星（ステラ）寮」、「陰（オンブラ）寮」に分かれる。そこでメイは、自らの運命と恋に向き合っていく事になる。
