　　阿梅出生在燈紅酒綠的港島，十歲就和媽媽、姐姐結伴賣唱養家。一次意外邂逅小警察劉家華，兩個春心萌動的少女都愛上了他。為了撮合姐姐和阿華，阿梅盡力壓抑住自己的情感。在家華的鼓勵下，姐妹倆參加了“新星選秀”大賽，姐姐失聲落選，阿梅因表現出眾從此踏入星途。

　　阿梅的歌唱天賦、她的百變形象、她仗義豪爽的性格，都成為眾人矚目的焦點。而她豐富多彩的感情生活，也成為媒體競相追逐、報道的話題：從當紅日本歌手高橋，到富家公子周世雄；從已成為天皇巨星的家華，到摯友何耀文；以及一廂情願愛著家華的林文嫻；跟自己較勁上位、“肉身換獎座”的朱美惠……
