January 9, 2008 i love this cdat first, when i listened to it, i didn't think it was up to par with his other two cds, but after having listened to it just about one million times, i have to say that i absolutely adore it. of course, his vocals are just...to die for (but that just goes without saying, right?)...and he's taking a hand at writing lyrics this time around, too. i think there's a lot more laid back feel to this cd...even more so than his other cds...and, i get a throwback vibe, too. how his influences stevie wonder and marvin gaye really play into it, too. my favorite songs right now:
#1, #2, #4, #5, #6, #7 (i'm in love with this song, haha)
gogogogogogo get it! khalil for the win!

1 Liter no Namida (TV Series) DVD Box (Japan Version)
1 Liter no Namida (TV Series) DVD Box (Japan Version) DVD Region 2
(7)Our Price: US$295.49Usually ships within 7 - 14 daysJuly 27, 2007 excellent overallsince the drama only had, i believe, 10 episodes, it doesn't ever get draggy. the main actors are exceptional, especially Sawajiri Erika (Ikeuchi Aya, the main girl), Yakushimaru Hiroko (Ikeuchi Shioka, her mother), and Jinnai Takanori (Ikeuchi Mizuo, her father). it also helps to have a handsome Nishikido Ryo (Asou Haruto). Erika is a natural actress, whose smiles shine through the tears. Takanori, especially, broke my heart so many times. even though the drama is very heavy, and you will probably cry numerous times, the overlying message is very powerful: Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful thing." this drama makes you want to get out of your seat and do something with your life. unlike the main character, who is based on a true person and book of the same name, we have choices in our lives...and futures which can't be wasted. This is probably the best japanese drama I've seen...and one of the best overall dramas I've ever seen. The writing, plot, and acting are top notch. Live, and do it happily!

January 18, 2007 I love this CD
At first, I didn't like this CD as much as the first one...but after a few listens, I absolutely adore it. Khalil's voice never ceases to amaze me. He is just simply amazing. The Peter Cetera song seemed a bit out of place to me at first...and still seems to be for me, at least, but his rendition is very nice. My favorites: tracks 1, 5.

Soul Boy - Khalil Fong
January 18, 2007 This boy does have soulI absolutely love Leehom...but I have to say I love Khalil a teeny bit more. Both have amazing voices, and the songwriting is gold...but Khalil is more my style. He is what Asian R&B should be at. The voice is a 10. His songs are varied, and the adlibs are amazing. I liked every song, but LOVED track 4 (everyday, everyday) and track 6 (what should i call you?). Listen to EVERY song. This is such a good buy...with so many good songs. Don't be fooled by his appearance...he doesn't look like he should be able to sing like this...but he can. :) I <3 Khalil.
