One of those rare films that grabs you by the gut and never lets you go. Men of Honor was inspired by the life of Carl Brashear (played by Academy Award winning actor, Cuba Godding. Jr.), a man who fought all odds to become a US Navy Master Diver.
Academy Award winning actor, Robert De Niro, plays Carl's training officer, Billy Sunday, who wants no part of Carl or his ambitions. He drives Carl beyond the levels of any normal endurance in an attempt to make him father and quit. Yet Carl never gives up and over time, the two men establish a respect that will ultimately see them battling alongside each other as they must fight to protect their honor and their lives.
An inspirational story about achieving the impossible, Men of Honor is an adventure into the human spirit and determination with an incredible finish that will leave audiences cheering.
