a bummer
| MG2 is a heart throbbing, serious and touching story of the love relationship between Dau Ming Sz and Shancai. The conflict is much more serious than in MG1. Vic plays the role of Hua Ze Lei, a compassionate, caring, dependable friend, not to mention that he is also incredibly handsome. He's so sweet to Shancai and is the friend that every girl dreams of having. Vaness and Ken also play characters who are more concerned with Shancai than the first Meteor Garden. The scenery is beautiful and the opening of each show is heart touching. Dau Ming Sz, unlike the first Meteor Garden doesn't step up to the plate of being the Knight In Shining Armour in this series. In the beginning, As Sz's love for Shancai is touching, overflowing. It was a great beginning and wonderful transition from the last Meteor Garden. Both their love for each other was visible. I was touched, moved, hurt, angry...*Sigh* watching the movie, I experienced all the emotions possbile. The ending was a disappointer. I expected more from the conclusion. It seemed rushed. I was left hanging, "that's it?" Even so, I was some what pleased with the movie. You could feel the passion between Shancai and Dau Ming Sz. It is a beautiful story which inspires strength in relationships. It urges couples to have faith in each other, their friends, family and but more importantly, themselves. I really encourage everyone to see Meteor Garden before seeing Meteor Garden II because of all the flashbacks. It's worth it and will give a much better understanding of the movie. I hope to see more of Shancai and Dau Ming Sz in the future. |

Ok
| Hey, in this part, i expected it to be a lot better because I loved MG1. I was somewhat disappointed because the beginning was so slow and the ending was too abrupt. Also, my favorite character in MG was Hua Ze Lei and i found it really sad that Shan Cai didn't pick Lei because he's been so nice to her the whole way. Also, Ye Sa isn't that terrible of an actor but she gets in the way of things and causes problems between DMS and Shan Cai. Also, it would be impossible that Michelle would be a princess in real life. Also I hate Michelle's english! And why were there so many stupid extra characters like Ah Mei, Ah Duh, Puo puo,Mimi. ANd why didn't Xi Men have a girl friend isn't he supposed to be a "hua hua gong ze?" Also I would recommend you buy it because this is my opinion but I only bought it cuz i love F4 especially Vic! Also don't forget to buy his new cd (Remember I Love You) and see Vivian Hsu, Vic, and Ken's movie Love Storm!!!! I LUV F4! |

It wasn't a nice enough jump for a 10.0
|
After waiting too long for the Cantonese version of meteor II, i decided to just watch the original mandarin version w. chinese subtitles. I finished 31 episodes in 2.5 days & why? cuz, this movie was just TOO DAMN long for goodness sake. 31 one compared to 19. it could have been 20 or max of 25 but they decided to drag a little more. Part II was too boring. Even though Part One was quite unrealistic at least i had quite a few laughs. in part II, all i did was fast fwding to almost the end. too much time was spent on Ye Sha when San Chai was the leading role. Why do story writers always have to make at least 1 role w. a weakness? why can't everyone be strong & healthy? Why does Ye Sha have to be stuck w. a sickness & Dao Ming Tsi pitying her? i was really happy to see that Vanness got a match, but how about the other characters? need to work on that a little more. Other important points were never mentioned in the movie, such as Ye Sha & Dao Ming Tsi's wedding. & Ye Sha's parents. She's a princess & that was it. Nothing further more was mentioned. Overall, this movie sucked & Part ONE was much better. but hey, it's a sequel so it shouldn't be better. No movie or drama can beat Lord of the Ring! |

| Meteor Garden 2 is such a graet movie! I'm very happy that this drama was so twisted and werido! I personally loved this drama and cherished the songs! I love the opening theme song, "Can't Lose You", by F4! The music makes me cry when when they play Can't LOse on in the middle of the movie! WO AI METEOR GARDEN!!!! Note: I really want to see Meteor Garden 2 in VCD/DVD with english subtitles! I have hard times spaeking Mandarin!... BUt when it comes with the F4 members talking, it's so hot! WO AI F4! |

Bad writer
|
Well, unlike MG1, where its story idea is based on comic, the original story of MG2 is so bad and lame. MG2 becomes a typical Taiwanese-boring-slow drama. It can be done in only 15 or 20 episodes but it is stretched into 31 episodes. Unlike in MG1, where you can't miss 1 episode. In MG2, even skipping 2 episodes in the middle, you almost don't miss any of the story. It is that slow, boring and unexciting. And the writer had some very bad miscalculation here. No matter how they want us to like Ye Sha, the more we see her, the more annoyed we are. They spent too much time with Ye Sha while she is always just an outsider. So MG2 is not only slow, boring and unexciting, it's also annoying. |

MG I and II
| Hi there. I have read all the comments about MG I and II and how ppl are critising Michelle Saram. This movie is the best. I don't actually love a group that much the way I did this time. I really admire F4. They are just so perfect. Every single one of them fitted into their characters. I am sad becoz a lot of ppl missed out Vanness and Ken. This series is a group's series. Vanness and Ken are also both as good as Vic and Jerry. I believe in love like Jerry did. I just really want to say is all of them were wonderful. I love the way Da S and Jerry overcome their problems. I wish I could really see MGIII if the Producers and Directors are thinking to produce, I wish they will include all the original cast/team. Changing either one will make the whole movie flop. We all have accepted the team as it is in MG I and II. I love you F4 and wish you all the very best in your career. |
