Metrosexual (Hong Kong Version) VCD

Yongyoot Thongkongtoon, director of the hilarious The Iron Ladies series, again plays with gay themes to offer an amusing film titled Metrosexual. A box-office topper in Bangkok, the movie can be enjoyed by gay and straight people alike. The story starts with young woman Pang announcing her marriage to Kong, a man who seems too good to be true - well-attired, stylish, skilled in cooking, knowledgeable about delicate cuisine, sensitive towards people's emotion. All these qualities seem to have disappeared from straight guys nowadays. Pang's four best friends therefore suspect that Pang's fiance is a closeted gay who is getting married just to disguise himself. In their meetings, resembling those of the four women in Sex and the City, the four cosmopolitan Thai women come up with all kinds of imaginative and even weird methods to test whether Kong is gay or just Metrosexual. The film may not be politically correct, but it certainly provides great entertainment with non-stop jokes!

　　電影主要講述五位女主角的愛情觀，從生活瑣事中表現她們對愛情的不同看法，例如在火鍋店中一邊打邊爐，一邊討論哪個男生長得帥，手法輕鬆，笑料百出，是一部很地道的泰國電影。為配合香港人的口味，今次製作了粵語配音版，請來一班知名的歌星明星為電影配音，加入大量港式笑話，務求要觀眾笑得人仰馬翻。

They embark upon a mission to prove that the groom is exactly who is claiming to be - "just metrosexual," and not a closeted gay man trying to fool the world by getting married to their friend. The wedding date looms closer and closer, and the girls still suspect something pink about their Pang's new partner.
