To keep the memory of Michael Jackson alive, Sony Music has signed a multi-million-dollar deal with the Jackson estate to release previously unavailable material from the legendary pop icon over the next few years. The first to come from this arrangement is the new album MICHAEL, which is due out globally in December 2010. Featuring a magnificent oil painting of MJ by artist Kadir Nelson on the cover, the highly anticipated album is expected to contain as-yet-unreleased music from the late superstar that were recorded after his 2001 studio album Invincible up until his departure in 2009, but were only completed posthumously. The first new single Breaking News was reportedly recorded in New Jersey in 2007.
