(1)Our Price: US$39.75February 9, 2007 Great AlbumBorrowed this CD from a friend and was completely amazed by it. I had never heard of this artist/model prior to but was really amazed at the quality of work collected here. Every song is really well written, with good musical structure rendering the entire CD a great ~45 minute listening experience. I highly recommend this CD to others of the Pop/Rock genre or those whom are already familiar this this style/artist. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
R. U. O. K ? ! (Japan Version)
August 10, 2006 FantasticI have only recently come across Aikawa Nanase and so so impressed with the 2 songs I heard, I snagged this album in a heartbeat. It is everything I expected: high energy poppy/punk type rock. Tracks 2, 3, and 7 stand out the most to me and I constantly listen to them. The rest are also great songs. I am very happy with this purchase and will look into her past stuff.
Hightly recommended cd to those who like this style of music. You won't be disapointed!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Speciality (ALBUM+DVD)(Limited Edition)(Japan Version)
August 10, 2006 Good CDI have been a fan of Tamaki Nami sincer her intial full length release "Greeting." I must say this has been my least favorite of her 3 full releases. Her 2nd release "Specialty" is still my favorite.
I felt as if too many of these songs sound similar and vary but only slightly often lossing me and have me wondering, am I on track 4 or 7? They seem to all slur together like listening to a continuous techno/dance cd. I still enjoy her unique style, but believe she has done better in the past.
The bonus DVD was slightly dissapointing. I expected it to contain a few PV's, but instead was a live concert. It was still entertaining but not what I had hoped for.
The cd package itself is fantastic. Heavy stock paperboard, doused in glossy full color pictures of Nami in color coded outfits. There are also 2 pull out pamphlits within that contain photos.
Overall, I do enjoy the album, but would reccomend checking out some of her older work as well.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Tommy heavenly6 (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)
August 10, 2006 Great CDI had been listening to J-Rock/Pop streaming radio for some time and occasionaly heard both of Tommy's personalities. I finally decided to pick this cd up and boy was it a great decission! This entire cd is great! I can listen to it from start to finish without skipping any songs.
She uses English occasionaly which might deter some fans, but it made no difference to me. The guitar reminds me a lot of the Smashing Pumpkins; it's very "fuz" like. The entire cd is fantastic and I cannot say it enough! It's worth every penny and I'm very looking foward to her next full length release.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
