On April 1, 2011, Tokyo's Ueno Zoo finally revealed their newest residents - two pandas from Sichaun, China named Ri Ri and Shin Shin. To commemorate their arrival, Spooky Graphics (who created the characters in the NHK children's show Little Charo) created a series of characters based on the pandas called Candy Bears that will be sold in a popular clothing chain store across Japan. Also a native of Sichuan, China, alan is performing the Candy Bears' image song Minna dene - PANDA with Candy BEAR's -. The song will also be used to promote the Ueno Zoo's Giant Panda Hougo Support Fund, established to save pandas from possible extinction. Ikiru serves as the double A-side single's other A-side track.

This edition comes with a bonus DVD with the Ikiru music video and off-shot footage.
