July 11, 2007 Great live! This is really a wonderful live of the GazettE!
The live was recorded in 2005, and a final for the third tour called "Maximum Royal Disorder" (note:: explains the title of the dvd "MRD")
Ruki his voice really does need some training in the live, but to be honest, the fact that he sometimes somewhat off the tone, doesn't mean the song don't sound good!
In this live Ruki is perfectly capable of performing songs recorded before the album "Disorder" was released. Performing these songs has become almost impossible for Ruki now, because his voice is too developed.
In this live, you can notice... the GazettE are a bunch of wild young boys not really knowing what to do on the stage, jumping around, jumping upon each other and doing all kinds of weird things.
It actually makes the live quite a lot of fun to watch.
It is also noticable that Kai sings a long, A LOT! in the NLSG-final it was already seen Kai sang along less, and in the MATPS-final Kai sings less than ever! Probably to relieve the stress because the lives have become longer and longer over the years, though even this final is 2,5 hours!
I think it is great to see that a group of 5 men, can work together so hard, and reach so much! This DVD was recorded before their great breakthrough with NIL, but this is a live that must be seen, a live that is part of them, they are after all still "The Social Riot Machines" .Did you find this review helpful? Mars (Japan Version)
July 11, 2007 AmazingThis is the first album of Gackt I bought, and it is still my near favourite!
I bought it almost a year ago, but i decided to to give a review, now that I am more experienced in using YesAsia ^^.
I think it is such a beautiful album!
I love the Freesia ~op. 01~ and Freesia ~op. 02~, they are my absolute favourites on the album, even though a song like "Vanilla" is hard to forget ^^; .
Not only that, on the album are also versions of Mirror and Oasis, honestly said, it was my 4th version of "Oasis" I heard O.o
The booklet contains very pretty photographs as well!
Showing an image of surroundings, cloudy and dreamy.
Great album, true must have!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Hyena -Auditory Impression- (Japan Version)
July 11, 2007 Amazing!So... I also wrote a review for the optial impression of this single...
But I also bought the Auditorial Impression, because I am an amazing fan of the song "Defective Tragedy" and this is the only cd that contains the song!
Both "Hyena" and "Chizuru" are beautiful songs as well.
Hyena speaks up against society, screaming words towards the "Mask" society puts up against all the lies that are told to the world. Not everything is what it seems.
Chizuru is more of a love song like thing, but knowing the GazettE it must be something painful. You need to realise the GazettE barely sings about a happy end, but that is what they are known for, no?!
Both songs are on both Impressions, and are very good (I love Hynea XP )
Then there is the third song, the one that impressed me most, "Defective Tragedy". I will honestly say, I did hear the song through internet before I bought the Auditory impression, simply because I already had the Optical Impression and wanted to know if it was worth buying this for one song. And I can tell you now, it IS owrth buying this even if it is only for that song.
Defective Tradegy is a song about pain, a lot of pain, pain from the inside. I did not translate the lyrics for the song yet, so I cannot tell what kind of pain it is, but to me it is almost like the song is about "losing ones identity to society, but unwilling to give the identity up" .
It is a song that can give you goose bumps! Though I do have to admit, I am very sensitive for music and the emotions put into a song ^^; .
But if you are not interested in a PV, yet do really like the songs, it is really buying this! Defective Tragedy appears only on this CD.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

July 11, 2007 Good but can use polishingThis is the latest album of Nightmare...
Well, I do have this album for a while, but I decided recently to post a review about it.
Nightmare is known as a band, but not yet very famous in foreign countries.
This is a very good album, especially the song "Criminal Baby" is one of the best songs they made up until now. I am also fan of the song "Boys be Suspicious" of which the title actually looks a lot like "Girls be AMBITIOUS" which is actually a song by "Miyavi". But i do not believe the songs have anything in common or anything, so you can forget that last part ^^ .
The songs "Alumina" and "The World" are songs used in the famous "Death Note" though I am not sure whether it is in the live action or the movie.
Yomi his voice has a bit opera like sound, but is beautiful in the songs created mostly by the drummer Ruka and guitarist Sakito.
What I think is less about the album, is that I seem the find it to have a lack of variation. I guess an explanation given for such a thing is the fact that Nightmare is still developing, and in need to learn newer techniques for all instruments and also vocals.
I think in time they truly will improve, because this album is very good nontheless.
I have the version with an extra photoalbum, and I think it's very pretty, I love the photographs! they are something you cannot just find somewhere, like the PV, but it should not matter.
The music on the album is good, I played it so many times it turned gray XDDid you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
DISORDER (Japan Version)

July 11, 2007 Great album! The album Disorder is one rocking album!
When you begin to listen to the album, "Disorder Heaven" get you in the mood for the second song... the all famous "The Social Riot Machines" ... To my opinion one of their best songs ever!
Furthermore, songs such as "Maximum Impulse", "SxDxR" and "Anti Pop" give a good drill to the album.
Ruki his English in the album is... bad... very bad...
the song "Carry" is entirely in English!
You didn't know that, did you?
Ruki his voice is not yet entirely developed, and sometimes I believe he even is a bit of the tone, but this has changed over the years.
If you are new to the GazettE, I do think it might be better to start of with an album like "NIL". The songs on that album, are softer, less grunting (cannot say that of "Discharge" and "Maggots' though ^^; ) , but this album has quite a rough sound.
I prefer this sound, but it is something to get used to, if you have just recently heard of the GazettE.
Very good album though! really one that is worth buying and if you really have become a fan of the GazettE, this is an album to have in you collection!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

July 10, 2007 AmazingThis is one new piece of art by the band "the GazettE"
With their new album "Stacked Rubbish" They stormed into the 2nd place in the Oricon Charts!
That is an amazing thing for a Visual Kei band.
The album contains the songs "Filth in the Beauty", "Regret" and "Hyena" which previously we're brought to us on single. The song "Chizuru"(no. 14) which is the main theme of the movie "Apartment" is also included on the album, even though it actually belonged to the single of "Hyena".
Aside from these 4, there are also 10 new songs on the album, of which "Art drawn by Vomit" and "People Error" are sort of an intro and ending. "People Error" is the entire song of which a part is played on the official home page of "the GazettE".
To my personal opinion, of the new songs, my favourites are "Agony" "Burial Applicant" "Circle of Swindler" and "MOB 136 Bars" .
The entire album has various types of sounds. "MOB 136 Bars" is a typical example of a song about anger, with a sound similar to older songs such as "Discharge" and "Maggots", yet "Calm Envy" is indeed very "calm", and gives pauses between the more rougher sounds.
The PV's are very beautiful. The Pv's included are the ones for "Chizuru" and "Burial Applicant". The PV of Chizuru is the version that is used in the movie. The PV for Burial Applicant is to my opinion even better, but I prefer that song above Chizuru anyway.
The album is a limited press, and also contains an extra booklet. I have this version of the album so I do not know what the difference is between this booklet and the other one, but there is some difference! ^^
I think it is really worth it, to buy this album. The sound is very different from their previous album NIL. The sound is rougher, the emotions are more that of anger and frustration. This album reaches me more than NIL did, because with this album, you can feel the anger, you can feel the pain. Similar to "Taion", one of the best songs from NIL.
Note:: The guitars are also quite different. In quite some songs, the same technique of guitar playing is used as in "Filth in the Beauty", in other words, quite some high, bleepy riddles on the background performed by both guitarists ^^ and also quite a lot of jamming on the guitars. Oh yeah! And the Bass-solo's of Reita are back! (I missed them quite a lot during the 3 singles they released TT^TT )Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
July 2, 2007 As expected from a Neo
As my title tries to say, this is a typical example of a Neo Genesis.
The photography in the Neo Genesis is almost always awesome!
And this time it is no different.
Artists that are included in vol. 14 are::
The GazettE(cover), Vidoll(Pin-up), Alice Nine, Plastic Tree, Doremidan, Kagrra, L.M.C. , MUCC, Mix Speaker's Inc. , Miyavi and Antique Cafe(Bou still included).
The interviews are always intersting to read, even though it's because of course, everything is Japanese.
Note on some artists:
The photography for The GazettE is absolutely awesome! The outfits are for their newest PV "Burial Applicant" and the interview contains individual interviews (2 pages for Ruki and 1 for each other member) and 4 pages of group-interview, about their new album "Stacked Rubbish"
Alice Nine has even better photgraphy than most artists in the magazine, the black and white images are simply gorgeus! Inlcuding a 4 page group-interview.
The photography for Plastic Tree and Miyavi is also as good as for that what the Neo is known for!
For Kagrra and Antique Cafe there are live-photos included with the interview.
I love this magazine, but since I am a foreigner I am forced to buy them over the internet. It is definately not a cheap magazine to buy, but the quality of the photo's is a whole lot better than that of most other magazines! And also the paper that the Neo is made of, is of much higher quality than that of other magazines. The paper is thick, and the cover is even a tad thicker to provide higher standards.
Neo's are pieces of art to me! haha!
if you can get your hands on one, you won't regret it!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)

July 2, 2007 Very goodI really like the Optical Impression of "Filth in the Beauty".
"Filth in the Beauty" itself is a very good song. Most of the lyrics are in English, and it is highly recommended to listen to the song about 10 times with the lyrics by your side, to truly understand what Ruki is actually trying to sing. One of the scentences is actually "Dad which fell into the trap"...
Don't worry, it took me about 5 times to find out he actually DID sing that! ^^
But enough about the lyrics, the music is very good, even though Ruki is beyond understanding. I truly adore the guitar solos, and seeing the PV of "FitB" makes it even more awesome. The drums also have a very cool sound in the song to my opinion. .
The making of Filth in the Beauty on the DVD is also nice to watch, not all that much of excitement, but at least The GazettE talks! ^o^ (can't say that about the "Hyena - Optical Impression").
Then the second song on the CD part! "Rich Excrement".
The title falls into the bizarre, literary translating it ^^;
But that is not an issue! The song has a very rough sound, more like "Maggots" . Ruki does a lot of rapping and grunting, actually no singing at all.
During lives, certain parts are replaced by the switch between Ruki and Reita, which makes the song honestly said better during lives than on the CD itself. Yet, when feeling angy or in a bizarre cleaning mood, put on the song and it is asured your work will be done a whole lot faster! haha ^^
It is one Optical Impression that I think is worth buying, yet, when not interested all that much in footage, the Auditory Impression might be better, because "Crucify Sorrow" is truly an awesome song! Beautiful, but this one, is one to have and to keep. Don't be afraid of Ruki his English! He's improving! ^o^Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)

July 2, 2007 Great DVDThis was the first live DVD I bought of The GazettE.
I already heard they were very good, excellent even at lives.
In the beginning I do was a bit sceptical on this, since many artists simply aren't all that good on lives.
I already had the album "NIL" and truly was wondering how well it would sound live.
I can't say anything more than that this is truly an awesome DVD! Ruki his voice sounds very good at lives, even though even he misses a note once in a while, but what can you expect in 3 hours?! And some songs sound so good, you hardly know that this is actually live!
Some songs even sound better during the lives than on CD, and why?
Songs such as "Taion" are way better during the live than it is on CD, because at the live, you see the pain, that song is supposed to express, and it's a truly beautiful sight!
The GazettE is very energetic during the live, which makes it fun to watch. The camerawork is a lot better than that of the M.R.D. final, which prevents you from getting a headache after an hour ^^ .
The ending is also one of the things that is not be missed. The complete breakdown, and the emotions freely flowing, is a sight that brought many to tears (cried a lot for some reason! ) .
The entire concert is on 2 DVD's, including both encores and also "Ride with the Rockers".
No extra footage on this DVD, the limited edition must be bought for that.
Only little less point... I think the DVD is quite expensive, even though you do get worth for your money, the DVD is definately NOT cheap or anything.
The same goes for their newest DVD-release, but this one DOES have the COMPLETE concert, in where in the newest one at Yokohama Arena a lot of songs have been left out!
Worth buying though, I don't regret spending my money on this! And I don't think many will.
Definite buybuy! \(^o^)/Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Hyena -Optical Impression- (SINGLE+DVD)(Japan Version)
July 2, 2007 BeautifulJust awesome!
To my personal opinion the best of the 3 Optical Impressions that The GazettE released.
The DVD might not be very shocking or contain any "exciting" extra's. The "making of Hyena PV" can be called slightly boring actually, in comparison to those they have on "Madara" for example.
Yet, this is not one optical impression to buy simply for the DVD.
The lyrics of Hyena are rough, very straight forward. And that makes the song very good!
Aside from that, the song "Chizuru" which is used in the new movie "Apartement" is included on this optical impression as well.
If you're not very interested in the PV or that stuff, I do suggest you consider buying the Auditory Impression of this single.
The song "Defective Tragedy" is uncluded on this Auditory impression and defitnately worth buying.
Even though I truly love the optical version as well!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

July 2, 2007 Very goodYes, this is a great album indeed.
It is the first album of The GazettE I actually bought.
In comparison to their previous album "Disorder" this one, I think can be called "soft".
Songs such as "Cassis" and "Baretta" can actually be called ballad-like.
Not familiar with The GazettE but willing to get to know them?
I guess, this album is a good way to start.
To my personal opinion I prefer a more rougher sound, that was created in Disorder, and also in the newer sound from "Hyena" and "Filth in the Beauty" and the upcoming new album "Stacked Rubbish".
Yet I will say... listen to "Taion", a favourite to many fans, and "Silly God Disco" and "Shadow VI II I" are definately songs on which you can't keep sitting down!!

June 21, 2007 Truly Awesome!Okay some things first have to be made clear::
1: The concert is incomplete
2: This means, Ride with the Rockers, Cassis, 2 more songs from the 1st encore are missing.
3: The entire 2nd Encore is not included.
Between the main part, and the encore that is on the DVD is a piece with Backstage Footage, about preparing the Live.
Though some pieces are missing, I think the DVD is definitely worth buying. To my personal opinion, songs such as "Rich Excrement", "Defective Tragedy", "Bath Room" and "Taion" are way better in the Live than that they are on CD.
Ruki his voice clearly developed to a newer higher level.
There isn't all that much of fanservice, but plenty enough to satisfy even the most fanservice-needing-fans!!
Note:: Then "Silly God Disco" is truly one to see! The fanservice in that song is more than... urr a lot! haha!
But in the end, I think you should buy this DVD for the music, and the music on the DVD is good, no I think it's awesome!
The Live is nothing like the final of NLSG, because most "soft" songs such as "Baretta" and "D.L.N." are left out, yet...
This is one Rocking Awesome Concert.
Worth to buy, definitely!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
