Sounds great!
"Mitsu" has a fresh, contemporary sound, with interesting and thoughtful arrangements that never fail to surprise. The well-constructed songs are in a varied mix of styles, ranging from house to rock to latin to orchestral ballads. It all comes together through the appealingly waif-like vocals of Shibasaki Kou. Highly recommended! |

Great
This is a wonderful cd. The standout tracks are one, two, five, six and eight. While the CD is overall very quiet, Kou Shibasaki has an amazing sounding voice, and the songs are beautiful. Really a great CD release, and it's good to try. |

Very Nice...
I really like this. It's rather slow, but her voice has enough expression and range to keep it from being boring. I would still consider this pop and not easy listening or R&B. I really love track #4. In fact, the only track I dislike (I ALWAYS skip it) is the very first...track #1! Usually artists put their best songs first, but I think she made a bad guess on that one. It almost totally turned me off the CD...until I skipped it and heard the other wonderful songs that came after it. I wish she'd put track #1 last. It's really NOT a good song and should not be the one chosen to set the tone of the CD. Another track that is nice, but doesn't really fit the overall tone of the CD is track #5 with it's musica latina flare. It REALLY stands out from the rest which makes for a bit of a flow disturbance. Track #7 takes the singer to the lowest end of her register (alto) and she is very weak at that end...she should really stick to the soprano range that she sings so strongly and amazingly. She shows that soaring talent again on track #8. WOW. It's a powerful and expressive song. Very lovely. So, despite the few not-so-good tracks, this is a worthy CD that I think most people would like...young or old, it's very appealing to just about anyone. And it has 12 full-length songs, so you definitely get your money's worth with this purchase! I feel like even though I have to skip two songs (track #1 and track #5), it's still a fabulous CD that I totally enjoy. Besides...even with 10 songs, that's more than enough for the price! Buy it. And I hope she releases something new soon, because I will buy more right away. |

It is a good cd it is a bit slow when you first hear it. But after the first couple of times you start to like it . It is soft and it can make you feel relaxed at times. I would reccomend it . Plus the booklet has a bunch of pictures in it . |
