Kusumi Koharu is ready for her solo career. Known as one of the new generation Morning Musume girls, 14-year-old Koharu takes a super leap with her debut solo album. It features her two opening theme songs "Oi Kana" and "Balalaika" for anime series Kirarin Revolution. Koharu can also be heard as the voice of protagonist secondary school girl Tsukishima Kirari in the series.

I LOVE KUSUMI KOHARU!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
If this is an album for children, well, then I`m too old for it. But I love it, and it`s made me so happy, so I just have to write a review and recommend it! Koharu is awsome!!! Not only can she sing ( most of the Momusu members do not, sorry to say, have very good solo voices) but she is so energetic, so honest and so positive I just want to hear and see more of her! All the songs are very good, the album has just the right mix of uptempo numbers and ballads. And the photobook was a real surprise and sooo cute!!! I know that Kohary will probably grow as an artist and expand her repertoire and maybe change her style some as well, only, Koharu, please don`t stop being as positive and strong and wonderfully fun as you are, for we love you!
So,I hope there will be a concert DVD or at least a music video DVD coming up in addition to this excellent first release by Ko. In the meantime, just BUY THIS ALBUM!!!

I was quite dissmissive of koharu before i heard this album, because with the exception of no.6, the album shows her improvement and i can honestly say i enjoy listening to it! I hope she is able, in the future, to release a single that lets her demostrate the potencial this album shows. Maybe her 5th single will feature a ballard as it's b-side!

Koharu's 1st album Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
Koharu's first album is just all right. It is mostly aimed at children, the audience of Kirain Revolution, and some of the songs reflect that. There are a few great songs in my opinion, the singles, Balalaika and Koi Kana are great, and Miss you and Koi Hanabi are also some great songs. Overall the album is a good buy in my opinion. I very much enjoyed it and recommend it to the people who enjoyed koharu's other singles.
