 Just fashionable, at best Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
I purchased these headphones in September of 2010 on yesstyle.com when they were on sale for $28. I surely wouldn't buy them for the full price of $50 because quite plainly put, they're not worth it.
When I bought them, I didn't expect much from the sound quality but it's actually not too bad (at the $28 price). I find that I can't wear these for long because they hurt my jaw and head after 30 minutes or so. The white headband piece is also very fragile and broke when I just took the headphones off my head to hear what a friend was saying to me even though I am very gentle with my electronics.

All in all, the headphones are not worth $50 and act as more of a fashion item than something you use to listen to music.

 After a year... Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
So I bought the orange ones almost a year ago, and I was really pleased. The music quality was, in opinion, really good and the headphones were really stylish. But I had one concern: The plastic strap which goes over your head looked fragile.

And it turned out to be fragile, as the headphones broke in two parts today :( And all I did was to take them off my head LOL D: Since I've always been careful with mine, I am now a bit dissapointed.

So if you're thinking about buying this; sure, go ahead. But don't expect them to stay whole for more than a year :(

i waited around 3 weeks to receive the grey-star headphones after ordering. the wait was long but probably felt longer to me since i'm not a very patient person xD the packaging was nice with lots of bubble wrap.

i checked it over and it seems authentic enough. the leather was a bit more wrinkly than i expected but not a shoddy extreme wrinkles like on the counterfeit ones i've seen. other than that everything else matches the "signs of an authentic pair".

i am also worried about the plastic part that folds up it does seem a little fragile but no problems for now ^ ^.

sound quality is pretty good. not as good as i was expecting but not bad either. good bass quality. the instruments could be heard more clearly than with my earphones/computer i reckon, and the vocals were slightly less prominent.

i have yet to have any problems with these earphones and hope i won't have to xPP.

Cool headphones Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Fast shipping, ordered on 6th Jan and received it on 19th Jan in Malaysia.
Cool features and looks authentic to me.
Sound quality is better than original Ipod white earphones but can still hear very minimum of noise.
Leather is wrinkly and soft which is prompt to peeling and like everyone, think the the white plastic is quite fragile.

If your an audiophile then these are definitely not for you. These head phones are mainly for style purposes. The sound quality is good and the noise cancellation is good too but it really doesn't last. I've had my head phones for about 6 1/2 months and I'm writing this review because they are starting to fail... I used these headphones a lot. I used them to and from school, when I was on the computer, and when i couldn't sleep. The part that I was worried about breaking was the strap part that goes over your head. That never broke but at times I feared it would. Just a few days ago I was using them in class and all of a sudden I could only hear out of the left speaker. At first i thought it was my MP3 but then i tested it on the computer. Same thing. So i started wiggling the wire around and the sound kept switching from right to left to both to none and back to left. The problem is in the wires. >.< for these to last 6months was expected. Come, on they're $50. You shouldn't expect a life time out of these things. Also after about 4months the white part of the headphones started to tint to a light beige color. I usually wipe off my headphones with a lightly damp towel so i think I may have rubbed away the color XD Like a said mainly for style purposes lol

I got the black pair with white stars a month after I ordered them and I thought they were worth the wait. Although I was uneasy about the leather being wrinkly (a sign that they are fake), the sound quality was really good. A couple months later, the joint in the middle of the plastic of the headphones cracked, which was very disappointing. A month after that, I took them off my head and CRACK. They broke right down the middle. So I basically paid $50 for low-quality Mix-Style Headphones that lasted me 4 months. They have good sound quality, but unless you want to buy new headphones every few months, don't buy these. Very disappointing.

Ok, so I expected to receive them the first week of December...and when I got home today, my parents were like, "Oh, btw, your headphones came." WOW. faster than I thought it'd take. I saw the neat package and started to open it. The actual headphone box was wrapped in bubblewrap. niice. I opened the box and lo and behold: the mix-styles! I instantly scanned the headphones to make sure they were the "real" ones. I saw the " mix-style logo made in china" label on the one side inside. The leather is cool to the touch (good sign that they be real), though im guessing the company DID change the material quality so its more wrinkly now. Still, not as wrinkly as the fakes (my friend has a fake one, so I know the difference). The sound quality is GOOD. The plastic parts of the headphones feel waaay stronger than the fakes. Then there's the short cord...and the extension cord. That, I think, is a bit clumsy, (the extension cord is a bit long) but it's not really too big of a deal i think? (i think in this, the fake ones are better, having the meter long stretch of a cord haha) Overall, I'm happy with the product. :] Nice sound quality, unless you have substantial expectations for headphones...Really cute style. *thumbs up!* I will never understand how these cost $50 though..lol i thank my dad for getting them for me ^o^ Yes, the ones I got from yesasia are REAL!

 Fast delivery, stylish, but some concerns Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I purchased my headphones on October 10th and it arrived on the 22nd. My star-grey headphones were delivered earlier than expected. At first, it says the headphones were on back order, but two days later they informed me it was shipped. Nice surprise for an impatient customer. =) So the whole process took 10 business days. However, I didn't expect that with free shipping, the mailman just left my order outside the door when I wasn't at home. Good thing nothing happened to it.

As with the headphones, the sound quality and the noise isolation is good. The issue I had was the extension cord. Without it, my mp3 couldn't even reach my jean pocket. The extension cord itself is too long and I don't like to use it. So every time I have to put it into my chest pocket so it doesn't pull. I personally don't see the purpose of the extension cord if Mix Style makes the headphone cord 3 or 4 inches longer.

However, despite all that, I was glad that I made this purchase because I needed a good pair of headphones to listen to my music when I'm pattern drafting. I really wish I found out about this earlier. It's a good music companion as well as a fashion accessory.

Ordered, and waiting :3 Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Ok, so I had my dad order these headphones (star-pink) yesterday (Nov. 7, 2010) and he told me yesasia said it was scheduled to arrive Dec. 3...which is almost a month! X.x I HAVE to wait, I guess, but maybe the shipment process will be quickened a bit like some of the other reviews have said. I will definitely write a review for these headphones once I get them! I did A LOT of research on real vs. fake mix-styles, and will provide useful feedback on the product I receive~ Waiting... ^^
