I always thought he was mostly a rapper because in Big Bang he mostly does rapping, and he's very good at it, but I thought his solo album would be 100% rap...kind of boring. I didn't have high expectations. I'm so glad I was wrong! He can both rap AND sing...incredibly!!!
I bought the CD for the track, "Heartbreaker". It's so amazing!!! It stands out from the rest of the album. I also really like "Breathe", "A Boy", "Gossip Man", and "Korean Dream". They are all very unique and catchy. My least favorite track is "Butterfly". I think GD was trying to use his voice in a different way for that particular track, but I didn't care for it.
I give the CD four stars because I personally don't care much for the rest of the songs. They're growing on me. Still, "Heartbreaker", "A Boy", "Gossip Man", "Breathe", and "Korean Dream" are fantastic and unforgetable!
Overall I think this album has a wide variety of music styles - a song for everybody to love.
Recommended for Big Bang fans!

"Stay", though, is probably my favorite out of the favorites. It's different from any other songs I've heard - it's absolutely beautiful - the most beautiful Big Bang song so far. It's difficult to describe, but it's one of my all-time favorites ever now!
The album also has three songs ("My Heaven", "Baby Baby", and "Always") that were on their previous Japanese album (Number 1, released in 2008). The only difference in this album is that these three songs are sung in Japanese, rather than in English.
I can't stop listening to this new album!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for new releases - Big Bang always leaves me wanting more! At first glance it seems a bit pricey, but it's worth it. Don't miss out on this - you'll regret it! :)Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

My favorite song is "Driving Me Crazy". It's absolutely beautiful! I love every second of it! My other favorites are "Quiet Storm", "Tell Me Why", "It's Okay", and "Only U". I like how there were several songs that had guest singers. There were a couple tracks that I found were a little boring, but all the other great songs make the album STUNNING. The album is really great because there is such a wide variety of music - I would be surprised if someone listened to the album and couldn't find a song they liked. My favorites are "Sorry Sorry", "It's you", "Reset", and "Monster", but I like all of them.
Just as a warning, Versions A and B of "Sorry Sorry" don't have some tracks that Version C does. For example, Version C has the song "It's You", but Version A doesn't. I would say that Version C is the best.

I was actually a bit hesitant in buying the album because I didn't have faith that her music would be catchy enough for me. I'm really glad that I was wrong! The songs are so catchy and unforgetable! My favorites are "토요일밤에", "Bad Boy", and "미쳤어". I enjoyed all of the songs except for "Twice Too Many Times", which is her only song in 100% English.

"曇りのち、快晴" is also good, but I did not enjoy "トビラ" as much as I had hoped to. I recommend it for all jpop fans.
I really like how the "Believe" lyrics make me feel so happy. They are very good - the song is not about some cheesy love story! It's about life and how a person can reach their heart's true dream, even if it takes lots of pain and seems like it takes forever and ever. Don't give up - keep going - and eventually you can reach that dream.

These guys are very talented and are definitely worth looking into. My favorite tracks are "One" and "Breakdown". "One" is REALLY good - it's one of my favorite songs ever! As for "Breakdown", it's really catchy and irresistible.
I give it four stars because I didn't really enjoy the short pieces very much. They're not bad, but I actually found them just a bit weird...

In "Since 2007", the style of music is more like pop than electronica dance, which was the style in "Numer 1". Nevertheless, Big Bang's "Since 2007" is really good! My favorite tracks are "My Girl", "La La La", "She Can't Get Enough", and "Dirty Cash". This album is very diverse. Some songs are slower and others get you up dancing!

July 10, 2009 GreatI really like "My Heart's in Heaven". I was first introduced to Son Ho Young through his song "I Know" (Which is now one of my favorite songs ever!), and then I looked into more Son Ho Young songs and ran into "My Heart's in Heaven". That one is also one of my favorites now! The other songs in the single are good, too. If you like "My Heart's in Heaven", I'm sure you'll like the other tracks. I hope that Son Ho Young becomes more well known, because he's a talented singer - his voice is a treasure - so he deserves the attention.

Track 1 is a great pop song, while 2 is slower but really beautiful. Track 9 is actually a repeat of 2, except that 9 is an instrumental. When I first heard it I felt like crying, though, because it is among the best instrumentals I've heard in my entire life.
The only down side of the CD is that it only has 4 or 5 songs with S.H.E. singing in them. The rest of the tracks are repeats of those 4 or 5 songs, except that they are instrumentals. Fortunately, though, all the instrumentals are absolutely beautiful. I only wish there were more vocals, so that's the deal with giving it 4 stars.

I can't get it out of my head. The other two songs are very good as well. My second favorite track is "Soul Man". The beginning grabs the listener and then the verse begins. The chorus is so cool!

I actually like track 2 ("Lonely Stars"), more than track 1 ("Eien no Tsubasa"), but they both are really good. I love the guitar and vocals. "Eien no Tsubasa" is more relaxing than the second track, but it's addicting and is still rock music. In my opinion "Lonely Stars" is more hyper and catchier than track 1.

Her voice is so great and the song overall is FANTASTIC. "Simple and Clean" is catchy and stays with me for weeks, which is good! Also included is another version of "Simple and Clean", which is a lot different from the original. It's actually even more catchy than the original. The karaoke for "Colors" is beautiful too, even without Utada's voice.
Recommended for all jpop fans. It's soooooo gooooood.

However, I felt that the rest of the songs were a bit boring, though not bad. They are all different from each other, but they aren't very exciting, and I have to skip a couple tracks, too. I have the CD and I listen to it, but if someone was to ask me "What do you think about the track, 'Movin' On Without You'?", I wouln't be able to answer because I wouldn't remember what the song sounds like, and with me that means that the song wasn't good enough to take a place in my memory. A lot of songs in the album are like that. I mainly bought the CD for "First Love". Again, the album isn't bad, but I would not give Utada past three stars. She has loads of talent, but in this album I felt she didn't express it.

All the songs are great, not just those three, and the members' voices are beautiful - together they all make a great group. This edition also comes with a poster, a sparkly picture thing (not sure what it is), and a notebook with awsome pictures inside~
With the music along with all these features, the money is absolutely worth it.

This particular single has a nice variety of music, with "Mienai Tsubasa" having a fast tempo, "Enjeru" being slower but having a cute melody, and "Sankyuu!" is actually a piano piece played by Kawashima that I looooooove. I wish I could give this single more than five stars, because Kawashima deserves it!

The second track, "Tabidachi No Hi Ni", is another beautiful piece. "Bye Bye" is much faster than the first two tracks, and is very catchy.

I enjoy some of Kawashima's other singles more than this one, but "Arigatou" is great as well! My favorite track is definitely "Arigatou" because it's really sweet and I love the melody along with her voice. However, I don't enjoy "LOVE & PICHI!" very much.
