Mobile Suit Gundam – One Year War is the very first game in Bandai and Namco's Project Pegasus series, and promises a whole new generation of Mobile Suit combat! Taking place during the popular Universal Century timeline in the year 0079, the game puts the player right in the midst of the bloody One Year War fought between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon. Players take on the role of the classic character Amuro Ray, as he pilots the original prototype RX-78-2. There are three types of gameplay in this mission-based game: ground, space, and shooting. While ground missions are the standard 3D action-oriented mobile suit missions, and the space missions up the challenge with enemies approaching you from all directions, it's the brand-new shooting missions that are look to excite veterans of the Gundam PS2 games! Players occupy a cockpit from a first-person perspective and take control of non-Gundam equipment, such as gun turrets and other weaponry, during these air-combat missions. Besides being able to pilot a host of classic Mobile Suits, players will be able to experience travelling in the chief vessel of the Federation, the White Base!

| Finally, the Gundam is in real action. The movie was out for ages ago and now finally can be Amuro and control RX-78 and fight all the other battle as what the movie did. Although completing this game is little hard and takes a long time to complete. But trust me the game it self is worth it. 10/10. |

| This Gundam game is a 0079 experience. In the game, you are playing Amuro Ray and not only be able control mobile suits but also can be involved in gun fight and battle ship fight. Interesting but would like to play the Capcom one better. I think if I can gather all the original scene and use those prototype Gundam or GM, I will have more fun. Worth buying if you are a fan. |
