Mobile Suit Gundam Operation Troy (Japan Version) XBox 360

Mobile Suit Gundam: Operation Troy (US Title: Mobile Ops: The One Year War) puts a new spin on the classic Gundam gameplay by allowing players to do battle both inside AND outside of a mobile suit. The game takes place during the classic One Year War, and allows players to take on the role of a foot soldier fighting for either the Earth Federation or the Principality of Zeon. Once the player spawns on the battlefield, they can engage enemy opposition with all manner of weaponry that one normally associates with a battlefield-set first-person shooter, like pistols, submachine guns, rocket launchers, and sniper rifles, as well as vehicles like tanks.

The battles get bigger - literally - when the player hops into their own personally-customized mobile suit to take on the enemy mechs. Sitting in the cockpit of either a RX-78 or a Zaku, players will have the full complement of familiar Gundam weaponry with which to assail their foes, including beam sabers, heat tomahawks, and 100mm rifles. With the ability to do battle either big or small, Operation Troy is already unique among Gundam games, but with added multiplayer options, including Xbox live online support, this Gundam game could outshine all its predecessors. Now players can work in teams, chatting via Xbox live, to take down squads of opposing Mobile Suits in a variety of multiplayer contests.
