1979年《機動戰士高達》開創了日本科幻動畫新方向，成為了動畫界的神話。今年暑假，一套三輯《機動戰士高達劇場版》港版復刻DVD正式登場。三輯劇場版將TV版動畫重新編集，加上新製片段，成為最完整的高達首部曲。復刻DVD採用LPCM原音，極具收藏價值。

以月球跟地球軌道周邊浮游著數百枚殖民衛星的宇宙世紀0079年為舞台，少年阿寶‧尼爾捲入了地球聯邦與發動宇宙殖民地獨立戰爭的自護公國SIDE 3的戰火當中，在偶然間乘坐上聯邦軍最新開發的機動戰士：RX-78-2 高達(Gundam)，被認定為少見的「新類型人」。本作品即是以阿寶為中心，描述阿寶跟著高達的母艦白色基地(White Base)，歷經種種困難而成長的故事。
