July 15, 2007 Just a few good ones...
I'm listening to track 3 and the beginning sound so much like a song from his previous albums, can't put a finger on which one or if it was my imagination. It sounds alright. His track 6 (You are a song in my heart) duet with S.H.E.'s Selina & track 9 (Incomplete melody) are decent enough, but track 12 (Saturday's late night) is my fave so far -- he sounded so lonely, wish I could be there to accompany him heh.
His other new song 戲出東方 (Xi Chu Dong Fang) is pretty good. I think that's the song from his new movie?! It's not on this album though.

October 30, 2005 Beautiful voice from the unexpected
Who would've known that a girl with such a body figure and look would behold such a beautiful singing voice. Han Hong is definitely one to break all stereotypes that only pretty people can sing and also be popular. I love her folk song styles. Her music should be broadcast to more countries because this lady really deserves more attention and fame. I was switching channels on the TV and one stopped my finger from switching, it was Han Hong singing live on TV. I was immediately enchanted with her singing. If you haven't heard her music before, you should definitely get this album and sample it. It's a real bargain!

September 27, 2005 Buy, Listen, Become a FanI was skeptical of his songs at first, always wondering why this guy's songs are themesongs of hit Taiwan series. One day, I was watching a really nice MV and his name appeared. I was amazed and impressed. More of his other MVs showed up, impressing me to find his album and listen to it. His entire album is good, from track 1 to the last one. This is the kind of album you buy and listen to everyday without getting tired and think it's worth your money. I'm the type of person that likes Top 40 music, so I can predict that this guy has real talent and can surely sing. He's pretty cute looking too, despite his single eyelid look. :D

The Story Of Long (US Version)

September 20, 2005 When you need to see a good & sad story...I saw this movie on TV and was amazed by the great acting skills of the 3 main characters (father, mother, and son). I really like this movie because it offers you many meaningful dialogues. There are two dialogues I remember most. One is when the father said to the mother when he gave her a ring, "I will depend on this ring to find you in the next life". Second one is when the son is carrying the father on his back and the father was giving a life lecture, saying something a father would say like, "Work hard. Don't be afraid of being taken advantage". There are happy and funny moments, but there are also very sad moments too. The ending wasn't a happy or a sad one... almost a cliff hanger but also not one. I recommend this movie for those people who want to see a good and sad story of Long. Very good.

September 18, 2005 The next Vivian HsuThis girl is super cute. She resembles Vivian Hsu in craziness and cuteness. Her MVs make her seem so adorable and lovable. Her songs are nice to listen to too. After seeing quite a number of her MVs on TV, I can predict this girl is gonna be a big star. Just watched a commercial with her in it and it was just so cute. This album is a real deal, you get all her great songs in 1 buy for a low price.

September 17, 2005 Worth every penny in your pocketThis album is an absolute stunner. If you don't believe me, then you have to believe every other reviewer before me. I first heard of this band from their MV on TV. I think they were singing Track 8 "I Have Say". That song was very impressive, it reminded me of the band FIR. I was so impressed that I had to check out more songs from this band. I found samples of their songs from this album and heard every single one without tuning out. Kary really screamed her voice out in this album and she was truly great. The music was very unique and sounds beautiful. All the tracks except Track 10 was good. Track 10 is just a short recording of the band members mumbling in the background. Track 12 is a piano version of Track 7. The big hit songs are Track 6 "Kill Her" and Track 8 "I Have Say", but all the songs are absolutely good. My personal fave is Track 11 "21st Century Youth". Buy this album now!! You will definitely not regret!!

I thought, "wow, this song is pretty good and hype-y". It makes you want to go crazy like the two guys in the MV and shake your head along to the music. After that MV, I just forgot about this group, thinking that it must be one of those one-hit wonder groups. A few days later, I see another MV with a different style of music but starring the same two guys. The lyrics to this song was really meaningful... about living your youth with no regrets, or something along those lines. That really impressed me, so I had to find out more about this group. It was hard at first since their MV only showed their Chinese group name. I think this group goes by their Chinese group name more than their "Awaking" one. Nonetheless, I found samples of their music from this album and listened to them all. Not once was I bored from their incredible style of music. The whole time, I just wanted to bob my head while listening to the tune of their music. My personal fave is Track 2 "Bikini". I really recommend this group. I can predict them getting the Best New Group award. Yay!!
