No one could dispute the remarkable level of professionalism Moon Hee Jun exhibited during his latest sold-out rock concert Return 1996 held in Korea on December 29, 2007. For three consecutive days, the ex-H.O.T member celebrated his return from military service in front of thousands of faithful fans. The opening stage consisted of a megatronic video screen displaying the number "1996" (the year Moon entered the military service), followed by nostalgic footage chronicling Moon's musical journey, beginning with his H.O.T years up to the present, at which point the entire arena went completely dark. When the lights switched back on, fans were in for a major surprise as they saw a big armored tank right in the center of the stage. Sporting his new post-military look, Moon jumped onto the stage, delighting many fans who have stood by the star since his controversial jump from pop to rock when he launched his solo career.

Moon's electrifying Return 1996 concert comes alive in Moon Hee Jun Live Concert DVD - Return 1996, a three-disc collection filled with explosive rock sounds and spectacular stage performances - all orchaestrated by Moon himself. The DVD features over 20 tracks of the star's memorable hits including Obession (Track 16) which featured in Moon's latest album released earlier in March 2008, the heavy metal version of G Seonsangui Aria, and rearranged versions of H.O.T's chart-topping hits. This hefty set also comes with many special features such as making of, clips of Moon's appearances in various SBS variety shows, and rare self-shot footage of the star's trip to Japan.

This edition comes with a concert photobook.

OMG i just can't believe it!!!!! i was on soompi the days he did the concert, and fan talked a lot about it, and i was sooooo sad that i can't see him in person. then day passed, and i was sure he would not make a DVD of it. but what a surprise! i want it so much! i buyed his Special album, so i could get a glimpse of the concert. i looove the CD a lot^^ i just saw the tracklist of the concert and it's realy his best songs! i'm very happy that Persia Black Hole is in it^^ it's sure that i will buy it, because i know it's a must buy for any fan! i agree with S. 100%!!!!!!!

A Must Get for H.O.T Fans! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I should have finished my review already. But I missed a very important part on the 3rd disk which is slightly damaged during transportation. There are clips on Moon Hee Jun, Kang Ta and other three members of H.O.T that you don't want to miss! It is an enjoyment while a little sad to watch them talked about their albums and works, giving their opinions, joking and teasing each other around. They are smart, as well as musically talented. I want to mention that I had purchased all JTL's albums after I became H.O.T's fan. Their album, Enter The Dragon is a must have. JTL was also excellent in its own and it reaffirmed why H.O.T was the best because they all have excellent vocals.

Also there is a clip of Moon Hee Jun, Kang Ta, Jun Jin (Shinhwa) & the cute Yu Jin (S.E.S.) at a show. You don't want to miss this at all because the three guys are showing off their dance steps while trying to be funny. They all dance well. Kang Ta of course always looks handsome and princely. But the already handsome Jun Jin is absolutely one of the most gorgeous men from Korea or anywhere on earth, lol!

If you're Moon Hee Jun, H.O.T or JTL's fan, this is an absolute must get! A slice of history is here!!!!!
I wish that the video clip of Outside Castle would be included in this package, but it is not. But just get it anyway!

I really wish that Moon Hee Jun, Kang Ta and the rest of the H.O.T members will be re-united to produce a CD or concert when they can cast aside their differences and previous hurts.

To Hee Jun: Thanks for the concert DVD and H.O.T clips! I wish You, Kang Ta & the rest of ex-H.O.T members Happiness and Success!

Moon Hee Jun, what can I say? I know I'm partial to him because he is absolutely one of my most favorite singers (2nd or 3rd place?), lol! I absolutely love his impressive vocals, musical talents and his gift as a singer. He did reasonably well at the concert, although not much running on the stage as a rocker. I like the stage lighting graphics which is excellent. I think he can improve on his stage clothes and choreography. (Please get ride of those baggy pants and heavy boots! Sometimes, well-made T shirts & blue jeans will just do for real singers, lol!) And PLEASE, PLEASE no real FIRE on stage next time or at any concert!!!!!

From the concert DVD, I got to hear one of my all time favorite, Generous..... and it's also the concert fans' favorite too. My other favorite tracks, To Live is For Fight, Persian Black Hole, Mayfly...etc. as well as the latest track, Take It....Fire are all in the concert. He did not disappoint! All Moon Hee Jun fans should get this package! The poster (~43x62 cm) is exactly the picture you get on the DVD cover. The color is pretty. If you are new to Moon Hee Jun, I suggest getting his solo CDs as well. You will become his fan if you like rock ballads or rock. Moon Hee Jun Hwaiting! :)

It took me less than 3 seconds to place my order. I thought I wasn't going to write any more preview, but I just couldn't help it when it comes to Moon Hee Jun. Along with Hyde, he is my favorite rocker. His impressive and attractive vocals, and singing skills place him at the very top of my list of favorite singers.
I listen to his rock ballad, Generous Tree daily. And only a few days ago, I saw the mv of Outside Castle in You Tube for the first time and I was totally impressed by H.O.T and him. Moon Hee Jun is not only musically talented, but carries a social conscience. You will make more discoveries of how good he is by getting all his CDs and this DVD. Please support him and the Korean music industry!

To Hee Jun: I wish you continuing success and happiness! Love your doe eyes too! :)
