Gackt's Best Album?
|
Rating score: Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10 The logical step after becoming Hyde's fan is to become one of of Gackt's too, right? This is exactly what has happened to me, lol! I don't place Gackt on the same musical level as Hyde because the former is a classic rocker regardless. But as an overall performing artist, Gackt is hard to beat in any sense! (I hope my statement here will make up for the slight that Gackt fans/dears think I place on our idol.) This album is probably my favorite Gackt album base on its music compositions. My favorite tracks are Fragrance, memories, rain, and wasurenaikara in that order. Lu:na, Doomsday and Missing are 4 stars tracks. Fragrance is a soft rock with very nice beats and melody. Gackt's voice is very soothing in this track and I just love it. Rain is a typical Gackt rock ballad showing his emotions and feelings with quite a bit of violin at the later part of the track. The last track, Memories is divided into 3 main parts of which the first two have the recurring themes that you find in Gackt's rock ballads. The last one third of Memories is my favorite. If Gackt did not enlist You, his guitar and violin player's help to compose this part, then Gackt is truly a well rounded musician because it is absolutely beautiful in any classical sense. If I'm not mistaken, this is the ending music that made the fans crying with tears as they were leaving his Moon concert. |

=D
| EVERYONE knows that Gackt is a good singer with a complete unique voice. Sure, the cover's cool and everything. But...I find it weird. I know I'm not the only one thinking this out there, but....Gackt's voice. It has so much emotion and feeling, and soon either you're crying or on the floor singing it. I personally went through at least one tissue box (literally) when I listened to this. If you are a Gackt fan, you definatly need to buy. (I reccomend the songs Lust For Blood and Rain) |

Underrated

I've seen alot of reviews on other sites stating how much they hated this album. I've listened to it 4 times in 2 days. The only problem I have with it is that the cover is a little off with the sound of the album. Lol. Noah and Lu:na, however, fit with it. The album is great; I only have one complaint on one song,a nd that's it; Soleil. Bizarre. It sorta weirds me out, but it's not a bad song at all. I love Gackt now. He's converted me to a fan. I never thought a male J-rocker could do that, since I'm so used to Ayumi and Utada. |

Gackt's best album
| I completely agree with Chiru-chan that the first time I listened to this album it didn't seem as good as it is now. The more you listen to it the more I like. I surely recomend this album to everyone no matter if you are a Gackt fan or not. I Personally I can't help listening to it. |

Gackt
| When I bought this cd, I felt excited. I couldn't stand not listing to it. This album has calmed me and brought me back to reality. Kept me away from my past and reminded me to think about what might happen later in my years. I recomend this cd to anyone who can appriciate true, wonderful, and beautiful music. Gackt has done a magnificant job and will be looking forward to his future releases. |

Dude. This is one of his best albums to date. What's wrong with you people? I looked at the reviews for Love Letter, and they were BETTER than these. COME ON. Have you HEARD Love Letter?? And people say THIS sounds mainstream? I think there's a serious problem here... Personally, I think all of his CD's have been phenomenal. With the exception of Love Letter. DO NOT shun this album. It's fantastic. [On one more note, I think people who haven't bought the actual CD really have no right to review. I mean, how can they display an unbiased opinion? Just a thought...] |

Gackt is HOT!
| I like this album. Especially Speed Master. I have to say Gackt did it again! With that sexy voice and charm of his, I found myself swooning over this album. A worthwhile buy! |

Very nice
| When I first got this album, I wasn't really impressed by it. I skipped through a lot of the tracks and hurriedly listened to another cd afterwards. But that may be why I didn't enjoy it the first time. After I listened to it again, I was amazed. I didn't truly appreciate it because I wasn't so excited about listening to it. The songs are really nice, and there is an excellent transition between each and every one of them. In order to truly enjoy this album, you have to sit down and really listen to it. The pictures were also amazing. This is very different from what Gackt has done in the past, and it was very well put-together. I recommend this to anyone who knows how to appreciate music, not just Gackt fans. |

very story-like
| moon is a very story like album. every song tells a story. i didn't give this album a 10 because i feel mars and rebirth were better, by the fact that the songs on the 2 albums before moon were sung deep down from his heart. this album doesn't have as much of a "down to heart" feel as his previous albums. none the less, its still a great album, but the mood of the album doesn't fit my tastes...rebirth is more me. but all songs are done great and a wide variety of sounds are used. |

Very Nice...

A lot of people have been rating this album badly, so I really have to diasgree. It was my first Gackt album, I was not really a fan and got it out of curiosity (now I have all 3). The songs on this album are beautiful. I don't care what others are saying. My personal favorites are "Rain", "Memories", "Missing", "Noah", "Death Wish". All the tracks were good except for "Speedmaster", it majorly stunk. Overall this album is exceptional and fits together nicely. Any Gackt fan or music fan should buy it. Sincerely, A jrock fan~~ |
